Go get it, if it was law enforcement they would rather give it to you at your house so then they can search it after they arrest you. you should be fine. BTW is it an international source?

does it make sense that they say it's too big? were you expecting a BIG box? my gear has never came by UPS, but i've used them for alot of other things and i've never heard them say anything was too big. they've delivered kegs of protein and CASES of freakin ammo. sounds weird to me man, but i don't know how BIG of a box you're expecting.

it seems like you're source would've split shipped, no?

a company that makes their money by delivering boxes to people's houses tells you that a box containing 10 amps is too big?!

wait a minute, was it a note on your door that had several reasons why it could not be delivered and the driver is supposed to check one? kind of a multiple choice thing?

if so, see what options are closest to the "too big" box that is checked. like maybe one that says "Nobody home, signature required". it's possible the driver checked the wrong reason.

if not, all sorts of red flags should be going up

Let us know if you are in jail my man. International shipments are the ones you will get busted for. Maybe you should contact the person who sent it to you and see what he says as well.

    UPS or USPS?

UPS doesn't delivery to post office boxes or mail slots. They will leave it at your door or leave a signature authorization for you to sign so they can leave it if there is a sig required or they aren't comfortable leaving it. It cost UPS money to attempt redelivery so they usually dump it on your doorstep. UPS takes packages up to 120" combined length + girth...that's a big package.

    USPS is another story.

I'd suggest you just go pick up the package (or have a friend go for you). Do you really think they are going to have a couple cops sitting around at the UPS office for days on end waiting to arrest you over 10 amps?

usps overseas is worst. Every time I have heard of a bust, they deliver the package and wait for you to go get it, then when you get inside.. they send in task force and you are ****ed.
