blood work info
hello hello,
i have 4 pages of results but not sure how to read it correctly. my doc wasnt concerned about anything but a little blood in urine.
here is just some of the test reults:
test name------------------result -----ref range
GLOBULIN, CALCULATED----2.9--------2.1-3.7
TESTOSTERONE , TOTAL-----703--------241-827
WBC-------------------------4.0--------3.8-10.8
RBC--------------------------4.98-------4.20-5.80
HEMOGLOBIN----------------15---------13.2-17.1
I got a shit load of other info but it doesnt say anything about my free testosterone level, is there a code for it on the test? also how do check my liver enzymes on the results?
thanks again!!!

Liver enzymes are listed under either SGPT and SGOT, or AST and ALT. Those mean the same thing, but different labs use different names.
SGPT = Serum glutamic pyruvic transaminase = ALT = alanine aminotransferase
SGOT = Serum glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase = AST = aspartate aminotransferase
Other tests that indicate liver function are bilirubin and GGT.
Free testosterone should be called just that. Some docs don't order it because not all doctors realize that it's more important than total testosterone.

Blood in urine can be induced by ovetraining.

That would make sence, but I don't feel as if I was pushing enough weight for that to be the reason. Doc asked me 2 get cat scan

He asked me to get a cat scan of my kidneys. I will in jan once work slows down. I also quit smoking cigs so that might be a reason as well.
