what size needle should be used to collect liquid amp

hi i know ur suppose to break the glass off in an amp, and im scared i might get some glass in the syringe and not know it, now im assuming ur prolly suppose to use the same gauge ur going to inject with about a 23 gauge, but just to make sure am i right, what gauge should be used?

they make syringe needle filters if you're concerned.

You probably won't get any glass in your syringe. It'll either break cleanly or completely break and you lose the juice. Or at least that's what has happened to me. I use 18's to draw and 23's to shoot. Try scoring it......

I draw it with a 23g 1.5 inch needle. 1.5" can reach the bottom of the amp no matter how it breaks. Then I switch the needle with a 1" 23guage and shoot

draw with a 20g here... just make sure not to knick any part of the glass with the needle if you re worried. like stpete said though, score it.... they either break clean or shatter and your gear is on the floor

i draw with a 19 gauge, 1 inch, if it dont reach the bottom of the amp i just flip it upside down
