    Bicep or Tri Injection?

Hey guys I have always injected in my quads, glutes, and shoulders I just picked up a few 25G x 1/2 inch pins from work and was wondering if you think its safe to try to pin in my bicep or tri with this size needle? Sorry if this isnt the correct place to post but I wasn't sure correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks guys.

For the biceps ive found shooting from the side into the outer head is the best way forward, use a 25g to 30g 1/2" to 1" needels are fine

I agree with Marcus, much easier to pin in the outer head (long head) of the bicep.

Thank you I did some research on spot injections and I'm a Er nurse but never tried my bicep of read it in any books so I went to the experts. Do you just suggest sitting your arm on a table and hitting the muscle relaxed? I'm pretty vascular hope to not hit anything...Ill keep you guys posted...

I just stand and inject. But if you are more comfortable sitting with your arm on a table, go for it. Its very easy.

Yea i usually hit my self and have no issues except for my glute I have to have my girl hit me. Any suggestions on other spots? I know research shows that spot injections do not help but I have noticed immense growth since I started pinning in my shoulders...Is this just a coincidence?

IMO, its just a coincidence. Other spots you can inject into with your 25g 5/8" would be your chest, traps, or if you are feeling adventurous, even your calves (although I dont recommend it if you still have many other spots to inject at).

Remember too, you have 3 muscle heads in your delts. You dont have to inject into the middle head all the time. You can inject into your inner head (anterior head), or the outer head (posterior head).

Yea my old contest prep trainer suggested that I just never really got around to it. I use to have an issue with squirting blood after an injection in my quads so I stayed away from them for a little and the problem resolved. Only happened everyonce in a while but gets old trying to get blood out of the carpet that sprayed like 5 feet like a water gun.

How long did it take before your quads started to squirt blood? I am asking because I plan to use my quads for the entire cycle

Which muscle head in your quads were you injecting at? Inner (Vastus Medialis), Middle (Rectus Femoris) or Outer (Vastus Lateralis)

id use a 1" needle in the bi's to get a bit deeper, 1/2" seems a bit small.

Ive been put off of quads big time since i hit a nerve and my leg shot up uncontrollably

Because I have only done 4 injections so far. My fifth injection is in a few hours. I used quads for my first injection, and was suprised at how easy it was. So I hit them the next three times. I use the outer part of the quad. So far, no bleeding. These was a drop of blood on the syringe after my last shot, but that's all. I cannot reach my glutes. I can with one hand, but not two. It would make it difficult to aspirate. I am not flexible lol. I am looking into injecting my chest, but I want to wait a while.

I was going to have somebody help me inject at work. The problem is, I am 3 levels higher than him, which kinda makes me his boss. That would be akward lol

Triceps are nice and easy, biceps can be a little sore as they have more nerves but as said shoot the outside of the arm if you're doing biceps.

If it was one or the other i'd go with triceps though but not a big deal just what i prefer.
