    HCG burn?

uh... should HCG burn and itch?

i've never used it, before. i didn't use it throughout the cycle because i'm a little concerned that long term usage can desensitize LH receptors. so, i just planned on using it the last 2 weeks of my cycle and the 1st 2 weeks after my last pin, then start my PCT 6 days later.

the first couple weeks was pain free. now when i SC a ML in my abs, it'll burn and itch and be somewhat sore for a couple hours. is this anything i should be worried about? i only have 2 shots left, anyway, but it's weighing on my mind a tad.

    i SC 1 ML (500iu) mon/wed/fri

bacteriostatic water, used a sealed sterile vile. it's never been out of the fridge longer than it takes to load a pin.

i might've mixed it a little less concentrated than some folks - i went 5000 iu into 10ml of water, but i couldn't see how the concentration would effect it that much.

one thing - i do wipe the stopper, the pin, and the site with an alcohol wipe. so, i thought maybe i was gettin a trace amount of alcohol in me, but i've always done this. not just with the HCG (from the beginning) but all my gear that i IM'd also. so w/o a change in practice, i can't understand why there would be such a change in sensation.

i'm just about finished with it, anyway, i'm thinking i should discontinue, no?

that's how I constitute it as well. never, ever wipe the pin with an alcohol swab, they are packaged sterile. if you only have a few jabs left you could safely drop it I'd think.

this is what i was thinking, except i've ALWAYS wiped pins. i'll stop now, like the other guy said, it's overkill they come packaged sterile.

i'll try the next one w/o any alcohol and see if it changes. prolly should drop it, but i'm curious because i like the idea of using it next go round too.

thanx for the help, i love this site

When I'm injecting oil's, I always drip a couple of drops of it down the needle to lube it up before it hits the skin.........

I believe Big is refering to some of the swab staying on the syringe although you might not see it. The smallest particle could potentially cause lots of damage.
