how long does it take for anavar to kick in?
in 30 days a friend of mine has a sports competition that he is hoping to add some strength for.
he's got one hundred 2.5 mg pills of anavar .
two questions for you guys:
is 30 days enough time to see any noticeable results assuming he trains/diets properly?
and if so, then how would you set up the cycle? should he only do a 4 weeks cycle or should he make it 6 weeks? 8?
he's a pretty experienced lifter and pretty highly conditioned as far as semi pro athletes go but has always been a little soft.

100 2.5 mg pills won't last you long enough to do anything.

^^^ exactly when the norm is 60 to 80 mg a day.

Even still, at 50 mgs a day that will only last 20 days. Get more.

thanks guys, this helps.
i think i'm gonna have him get a little bit more and do 40mg per day for 4 weeks. i'm gonna tell him that i recommend he gets enough for at least 6 wks, maybe 8 and continues if after his competition.
from my experience, i've made GREAT gains on 3 separate occasions on only 20 mg a day for 7 weeks. did another cycle at 30 mg a day. even have done var only cycles at just 20mg a day and got ripped, stronger, harder.
i'm sure more is better and i love var (next cycle is gonna be 60-80 mg a day as you guys say) but keep in mind not everybody has the goal of being a huge bodybuilder so for athletes in certain types of sports 20 mg is pretty good, speaking from experience.

4 weeks is not long enough for a var cycle. Without knowing his stats we couldn't suggest dosage. Since the comp is about 4 weeks away, I'd focus on diet. If he's running track or something similar I'd try dropping acouple lbs of fat. Otherwise it'd be a good idea to load up on creatine imo.
