    LDL and HDL with Var

I've read that Var will raise your bad cholesterol and lower the good cholesterol. I'm planning on doing a 12 wk cycle and I'm wondering what the long term effects are. I know that the levels will go back to normal once I'm off the cycle, but will it give me permanent damage (plaque buildup) just from a temporary spike. I have the same question about the liver.

    Thank you

Thanks for replies. I"m 5-6, 162, 37 yrs old, training for about 25 yrs. pct will be Nova. Bodyfat is about 9%. I'm taking a low dose (20mg) of var only.

Last time I checked my cholesterol it was 169 (year ago). Spywizard, I thought that the cholesterol being changed from steriod use was similiar to it being changed from being very overweight. If someone is 100 lbs overweight and has a level of 300, then they lost 100 lbs and it goes to 225 or less.

    Thanks

12 weeks is too long for any oral. Cut the length of time in half and double the dose: 40mgs for 6 weeks.

I did the very same cycle recently and last bloodwork (1 week after PCT) showed HDL, LDL and cholesterol in normal range. HDL was low normal, LDL high normal, and chol was 185.

The only thing out of normal range was something called anion gap.. still don't know exactly what that means.
