    starting my 3rd cycle

I have been out of the gym since Nov with tennis elbow and rotator cuff tendonitis. I plan on getting back in the gym in Jan.. Would it be ok to start my next cycle a month after lifting in Feb....

Maybe not because when you build muscle that fast your tendons dont build up as well and 6 months from now going heavy you could have an injury.

No I wouldnt recommend doing that, I would give it some time before starting a cycle, I would give it 3 months and then re-think the situation

I dont think its that easy to acess the exact timing without knowing the severity of the injuries also some people heal much fast than others. Really he should take his time starting with low to moderate weight and slowly work his way back, suddenly going back to high weights could be a disaster.

that depends on the person, but i would worry more about him injuring himself because of strength increases that his body(bones, tendons, nerves, everything) couldn't handle, personally i would keep lifting until you are close to where you were before you had to stop

Agreed, 3 months sounds like a good timeframe

i'm with ya bro, i went to state and played national a few years ago and my shoulder would actually move around and dislocate if i started serving anything over 120mph or so, luckily i played doubles so a big serve all the time wasn't necessary

i would definitely wait, start off with full body workouts or upper/lower till your body starts to not get as sore, then start with split workouts and really listen to how your body responds, you'll know when you're ready
