Every 3.5 days injection?...how do you look at this???

ive been told to inject ever 3.5 days

ie: sunday/wednesday or monday/thursday

but if you really do the math, from the last injection day to the start of the new one is 4 days.

My question is, shouldnt i just disregard what days of the week injection falls on and consistantly do every 3.5 days ( monday/thursday, then sunday/wed, then sat/tues and so forth, or should i stick to a close, but not exact sunday/wed or monday/thurs split?

I do it monday mornings and thursday evenings myself which is pretty much exactly 3.5 days.
