    Another Injection question

Ok, i tried to put this off and not ask but after the second pin i am now too curious not to asked someones opion on this.

I am Using Test500mg and Deca400mg per week. I split the ppins into 3.5 days, half doses each time test250/deca200mg.

On my first pin, i warmed the vials a little before drawing, by running them under warm water. i was thawt that by a vet from my previous cycle, suppose to help dull the pain. Anywyas when i pinned, with a 23g 1.5", it took almost 45 seconds to push 1cc through. So after that time i thought maybe i warmed the vials too much, so i didnt warm them this time, But it still took at least 45 seconds.

I have read many injection threads, and everyones consis was they use 23g-25g 1"-1.5" depends on site, Delts/glutes/quads. I have done one delt and one glute so far.

Any suggestions on this? Deal with it or just go and get 22g or something?

a good injection time should be around 60secs imo, just pin without the water, test e and deca should be pretty painless

Are you sure your not using 25g? Although I guess that's about right for pushing out 2cc's. You could go to 22g if you like. The gauge size is more of a personal preference. The lower the gauge the bigger the needle. For some people the bigger needles hurt too much and for others it's just a phobia of needles that cause them go use the smaller ones.

I use a 22gauge, dosen't hurt that much, and the liquid goes through pretty quick, id say like 10 seconds to go inject 1CC.

all injects should be patient and not fast, you'll risk lumps and more pain if you dont go smoothly, just dont blast it in there

I am not sure what is wrong .

If you take long , the syringe fairy appears and takes your gear ?

Are you having pain or just anxiety ?

After you draw from vials you need to swap needles . They have become dull from piercing 2 rubber stoppers .

Once you have the 23g 1 inch or 1 1/2 needle . Twist on snug . Push out air and push out a drop to lubricate needle .

Swab area and or even splash some alcohol on area . Relax , Aim and push needle in . Don't move or squirm . Aspirate and then push in gear . Remove in a controlled motion straight out .

Don't worry how long you take . Just imagine your giving someone else the injection .

    Good luck .
It's better to ask a question than to wonder if what you think is right .

Ok i am pretty sure they are 23g lol....got them from the red and yellow banner....and it says it on the wrapping.

This time there is no pain....like i said only second pin today. My first cycle i was in constent pain, but i was using 22g and it went through in like 10seconds.

No anxeity, and i draw with a 18g pin, the switch to the 23g. I shower before pinning. swab the rubber, the area and the area one more time. Then i asperate, then after im done i rub the area immidetly for about a minute with another swab.

i was just worried about the length of time. The first pin i was trying to push it through but at the same time i was pushing the needle deeper till it was all the way in, and i wanna leave some out incase it breaks on me.

This was just a nervous question i guess, the longer it takes to more i shake....just curious on everyones thought really.

ya when im injecting in the glutes my leg starts to shake sometimes if I take to long, just a weird position. Im sure I inject alittle differently than most I prefer to put the needle in kind of slowly say 15 seconds I like it better than fast as I can feel all the layers its going through and if im going through a vein or something as I can stop sooner and retry. and then I aspirate and inject. My injection usually takes 30 seconds mabe alittle longer but im usually pushing 3 cc. I never warm my gear its at room temp good enough for me I use 22g 1 1/2. Seems to help right after a shower loosens me up

    Wink

The best way for the first time injector is to lay down on the bed, on his side.

    Inject into his glutes.

This way, if there is a panic attack, or worse, passes out, he can't fall over and hurt himself.

This is great for the newbies.

    Maybe should be a sticky.

I use a 23g to inject..... the stick is fast..... the injection of oil is fairly slow. The technique used to inject is really important. My father has gotten TRT injections from docs that used 18g pins and never felt them..... other times a 25g has felt like a steak knife..... technique is probably the most important factor.

I also like injecting before I workout..... I like the idea of getting my blood flowing after the injection. Feels like the oil is dispersing lol!

I use 20's and feel nothing but the actual dispersal of the gear itself.

    I'm lucky in that respect.

well thanks for the responces everyone, think i was a little misunderstood for the reason of the post, but i got my answer.

I just was used to my first cycle where the gear was pushed through within 15secs.....just was curious if it usally takes longer.

I guess its probablly better slower anyways, just have to get used to it.

No pain, panic attacks, or anxeities when i pin.....little shaky but thats it.

    I do appreciate everyones help!!
