How long do you train for??

How long do you train for on cycle and off cycle, how many people try and stay under there hour on cycle or do you think it doesnt apply as much.

How many days a week do you train on cycle.

Would be good to have some vets opions to.

Depends on what i'm trying to achieve. I adjust workouts and diets accordingly as well.
Right now i'm basically doing full-body workouts eod and consuming 5,500 cals a day approximately. Some of those thru shakes.
My current time in the gym is 1.5 - 2 hours.

When i switch to isolating bodyparts i'll be in and out of the gym in an hour. Minus cardio. I like to work fast and do higher reps when isolating. Sometimes i'll go heavy but not often.

    During my cycle:
    45' biceps/triceps
    1h chest, back and shoulders
    1h30' legs

(note: I did not run test so I presume in my next cycle I will workout for a longer time)

    Now to maintain:
    45' all except legs 1h

I train ed for 2 days than 1 day off or eod continuously for two weeks than three days rest and repeat.

    4-5 days a week
    60 min legs
35-45 min all other body parts
On or off cycle it's about the same. The weights change but that's about it.

Good lord, everyone's always saying 45 mins max. I simply can't fit everything in in 45mins. I'm usually 1hr 15min or 1hr 30mins. Glad to see I'm not the only one; I was actually starting to feel a little guilty about it.

Time is so variable. Include reps, sets, and rest times along with total workout times and people can get a better idea of what you all are doing.

Has anyone tried NO workouts for half of a cycle, or 10-20 minutes a day ED or EOD on cycle? All this excessive workout regimen may not be optimal for everyone.

Thanks for replies guys, good to get a feel what other people are doing.

I normally try and get out in an hour but since iv been on i let it go to 1.5 hr sometimes, listen to my body. Normally 5 days a week but while on im going 6 day.

How many people are training twice a day , i will sometimes when i feel im lacking in something and wanna get it up to scratch.

how many sets on each part??

  40. #40
    Usually:
    1hr. 5 days/wk.

When I'm "on" my workouts usually go up 15-30mins. I think a lot of that extra time is due to my mental need to make sure I'm not wasting any benefits.
