I keep reading the horror stories of Australia. What about the U.S.? Are they pretty tight? Is shipping from some countries tougher to get in then others? Any and all input is greaty appreciated.

go domestic if you can...much less of a headache
customs is hit and miss some guys gear gets seized others not....i even heard of one guy whos gear was actually opened and resealed by customs had there tape on it anyways...but how true that actually is i dunno i personally find it hard to believe with how hard the goverment is trying to get this "poison" off the streets lol ...o i should mention i'm refering to canadian customs

US customs is not as bad as Australian U could never have a problem or first shipment could get siezed u never know.

They can't sit there and scan every single package so they do one main thing:
Profiling- If they see a box that looks exactly like a box that had illegal drugs in it with the same logos and stuff. They'll look at that.

Most oversees companies probably have the smarts to ship very discretely though. I wouldn't know never done it

Domestic source is DEFINITELY the way to go bro. I got my customs letter about 2 years ago to the day almost on my very first order from overseas. Luckily met a domestic guy since and havent had any issues.

I dont know about the US, but I have personally had gear opened and still sent to me with the customs tap all over it.
