I've been off of a 30 day cycle of 50mg drol for almost 3 weeks now. In the final week of the cycle I increased the dosage to 100mg a day. I am on a pct of 20mg of Nol, and I have about a week left until I complete my pct.
During the drol cycle I felt fine and didn't experience any side effects besides a few bad headaches. However, during the entire cycle my blood pressure spiked on the systolic end to the 150s and 160s on a daily basis. My diastolic BP remained in the normal range throughout the cycle and remains normal.
Before my drol cycle my systolic BP first thing in the morning would be in the 120s. When I take my BP in the morning now it is in the high 130s, which is prehypertensive. During the day when taking my BP sometimes it is in the 150s and 160s like it was when I was on my cycle, although it has decreased a little since my BP in the morning is in the 130s. Before the drol cycle the highest my BP got was in the low 140s during the day sometimes due to stress, caffeine, etc, but I have NEVER seen my BP in the 150s and 160s.
I was under the impression that my BP would normalize after the drol cycle, but it is still high nearly 3 weeks after my cycle. The water retention has subsided from the drol cycle. Is it possible that Nol is causing the persistent spike in BP? Could it be my cholesterol levels?
For those of you who have experience with long drol cycles, how long did it take for your BP to normalize?
Thank you all for your input.
