Thread: Lost control over acne.

    Lost control over acne.

I have it from the neck, shoulders, arms and forearms, all the back and even on abs and quads. I'm off-cycle since about 7 days and i need a trick to slow its progress. Ive told told oiling myself with alcohol every morning and night would help fight the bacteria, and having a sunburn would make me a new skin, thus removing all the pimples of the burnt surface until they respawn...is that right?

I would get some accutane asap. Talk to a doctor if it persists.

    Dawn dish soap for now.

Accutane as soon as you can.

    Your source should sell it.

Anyone ever use Pantothenic Acid for this? I know I've tried anywhere from 100-500mg daily. Worked ok, better than not on it anyway. I've always had acne on my back, shoulders. I've been accused of being on gear because of my acne. Can accutane be subscribed?

best advice I can give for quick treatment.....

Order accutane asap and start running it at 60mg's/day for a few days then down to 40mg's/day till it starts subsiding. Then 20mg's/day until it clears up - then 10mg's/day as maintenance till pct is over.

while you are waiting for the accutane to come in..... Buy a product called "Zap Zyt" - it contains benzoyl peroxide. Put it on 1st thing in the morning and before bed. ou can find it in rite-ade.....

Use anti-bacterial soap in the shower.....

Vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid) does work but must be run in realy high doses - upwards of 10g's a day..... It can also temporarily make acne worse while it helps push the rest of the oil through the skin.

That sounds about right. I was trying higher doses than 500mg. I think they come in 500mg pills. Its been awhile. So I was taking 2-5G's a day. I think I did try 10G's but I didn't do that for long. Is Accutane that much better?

Accutane is the strongest product out there..... it does come with risks tho..... like everything else. Just have to be aware of them.....

I took accutane back in High school I was a pIzza Face it worked amazingly!! the only draw back was the seizure I had. I was then put on some other Kind of medication so I wouldn't do the fish anymore. But it did clear up the acne..

a tanning bed will help dry out the skin which helps with acne. but you dont want to burn it! think about it, that skin is damaged as it is so its not protecting the more sensative skin underneath. a burn would only lead to a greater chance of skin cancer. apparently 1 or 2 bad sunburns can add greatly to your chances of developing skin cancer down the road.

diet can play a big role too if your prone to acne.
