Prescribed Test from Dr. with no PCT, need help!
Hey guys,
Question that I couldn't find anywhere on the site. I'm one of the "lucky" ones who has naturally low T (285), so my Urologist put me on 100mg of Test cyp, which I take weekly at 50mg to keep my levels constant during my 12 week cycle (he wanted me to do bi-weekly 100 but too much peak / valley for me). Test is the only thing I am taking, nothing else. He has me on a 12 week on, 12 week off regimen (he says so I can have kids someday), however, when I come off T he says there is nothing I can take to suppress estrogen levels, and I need to let my natural T levels come back on their own. Problem is the crash is brutal, and even he said its difficult to get through it, but its the only way in his opinion. I've gone through the crash twice now and I'm not looking forward to doing it again. Its a month of hell for me, fatigue, headaches, depression you name it.
From what I've read here there is a lot of things I can do PCT, but nothing according to my Dr. Do I need to find an endo to prescribe something? I dont know where to look for a Dr. who understands the on / off cycles like guys do here. I realize my dosage is also a lot less than normal cycles so I need to know the proper amount I need to take for PCT, and how to get it from the right Dr. Surely because I've been prescribed T, there has to be a Dr. out there who will prescribe PCT (Toremifene or something). Is there a particular Dr. I need to contact or look for in my area? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Hopefully this can help somebody else here in the same situation. Thanks in advance!

The problem is if you test levels are that low you should be on test the rest of your life. There are a lot of vets that are on HRT and will help you out. He should be taking you off after 12 weeks thinking that it will some how increase your natural test levels

most docs do not want to put young people on TRT for the rest of there lives and i def would not encourage it.

OK, but what I do about the lack of PCT? What type of Dr. do I look for to prescribe PCT? I read about Toremifiene, tamox, & clomid here, but not sure how much I should take since my T dosage is so much lower than bodybuilding dosage. Will a Dr. prescribe this to me? This Dr. has just left me hanging and I can't go through another off cycle without something to help with the symptoms. My wife will kill me, and I cant bear feeling like sh*t again.

search for a endo doctor,, yes clomid, HCG , nolva can be used to boost your natural production.

that's why you see an endo for HRT not a urologist.. hormonal levels can be controlled it's like he's a car mechanic but just a general one.. he knows there's a water pump on the car, but don't let him work on your BMW..

I would do what spywizrd said and see an endo.
Please correct me if I am wrong (The vets on HRT), I wouldn't do PCT. I will let my test levels crash and then get your blood work done again and the Dr. will see he is wrong so that he will keep you on test the rest of you life. IHMO

Are there any supplements over the counter worth taking to help with PCT? With my normal levels fluctuating between 285 and 305, which I know is on the low end of normal (300-800), does anyone know if I take something like Toremifene if that will increase natural T level so I dont have to take T shots anymore? Maybe just adjust diet and take some supplements. I'm looking for some help cause I just dont know what to do about this crash coming off the T which is going to take place in about a week.

If your reason to come off is to have kids then you need to consult a fertility doc.
In most countries hcg /hmg/serm combos are the regular.
And, your doc has no mofo idea what he is talking about when he tells you just to come off.
At a free test level of 285 you are basically a 80 year-old male hormonally... PCT drugs wont do shit.
I just saw a friend that was well educated in Cuba and talked to him about hcg (pregnyl) he had no idea what I was talking about... (It is OTC here)... but still most general prac docs dont see or deal with to many males that need pct.
