http://forums.steroid.com/showthread.php?t=292564 ,,,, HCG mimics a hormone that causes your balls to produce testosterone and rebuild, so your body won't produce the test on its own. HCG helps balls rebuild and nolva/ clomid help your hpta repair itself and recover, HCG will just supress your hpta recovery because it replaces something pct helps you make again. Read the thread.

    It mimics LH.

If it is ran during PCT it actually is counter productive in jump starting your HPTA.

On cycle is the way to run it.

This is as basic as I can explain this.

Because it will desensitize the leydig cells to lh.

Sorry for not explaining things in greater detail for you.

Somtimes members only get confused by writting medical reasons, as it does get complicated.

dosent hcg actually raise estrogen levels as well? hence bad in pct. Id only use it if i had a supressive cycle. I have a friend whos a doc and some of her patients use hcg. She says it has raised their liver values, as well it stimulates stem cells that arent meant to be stimulated and could possilbly be a cancer risk if used for a period too long. And agian that is user dependant much like someone using too much hgh, nobody is sure what dose is too much for each individual person. Not tryin to scare anyone but sharing what ive heard from an educated doctor.

I believe that if you are on HRT, then you are already shut down.
It is like trying to refuel a car with a blown engine

    Pointless

what if your on for a year and want to take a break, wouldent running hcg for maybe 2 months before you get off make it easier to recover?

From what I have read, running hCG for a basic 10-12 week cycle will be very beneficial for recovery during PCT.

I have also read that being on Test for an extended period of time can cause permenant shutdown.

If someone is on HRT, then they are shut down for good. I am sure that there isa chance to recover somehow, but I hear that it is unlikely. I have free healthcare, so I do not care if I get on HRT in the future. I was afraid of it at first, but now it doesn't seem so bad.

Remember, I am just repeating what I read through these threads. I am applying it to my current cycle, so I would never suggest anything counteractive of what I would do myself
