That's untrue...

It's actually quite suppressive at those dosages.

In studies something like 33% of men experienced suppression of the HPTA @ a dosage of 25mg ED. So that says something to x 2, 3, 4 times the dosage.

IMHO proviron is counter-productive to the goals of PCT. You're trying to recover your HPTA - correct? Then why would you want lingering suppressive compounds in your body simultaneously?

In any case, some people recover easy post cycle, and like to use the proviron to aid w/ libido during PCT. In this case, one should use it at a dosage of 20 - 25mg (no more.)

T, I had a guy recomend Proviron when I got my Nolva and Clomid, I thought it was a little weird.Also, I have included a quote from the profiles forum regarding Proviron:

Now, as if all of this weren’t enough, lets talk about how Proviron affects your HPTA (Hypothalamic-Pituitary-Testicular-Axis)…the thing that regulates the male hormonal system. When a reasonable dose of this stuff is given (100-150mgs/day), it had no depressing effect on low or normal serum FSH and LH levels (6). Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) and Leutenizing Hormone (LH) are two hormones which send a signal to your testes to produce testosterone . Good news for people considering it for PCT is that it can even raise your LH (10)! Thus, by not suppressing those hormones and maybe even raising some, your normal testosterone levels will remain intact. This points to a novel use for this compound during Post-Cycyle-Therapy for a non-suppressive “bridge” between cycles. In fact, in yet another study, administration of Proviron (basically the same dose as in the last study) produced no changes in steroids , thyroid hormones, gonadotropins nor PRL (Prolactin Levels…you want those to remain low).(8).

To be honest ive been reading up on this quite a lot and proviron is actually prescribed to people to increase sperm count and quality, it is suppose to increase LH.

so if so then it should be a good PCT drug.

Pro-V is VERY popular where i live as an antiestrogen/antiaromatase and in pct, people used it quite successfully as i have too.

I am actually using it in my pct right now at 50 mg per day , can anyone please finally confirm if it is suppressive or not ?

possibly but you'll get 'yes it is' and 'no its not' answers all day long, if it was me i'd find out for myself, we all react differently. test e kills me to recover, with sust im fine

In my experience Proviron is a wonderful addition to a proper PCT.

As Mr. Rose has stated, Proviron is prescribed to improve potency.

This is not to say that it is to be used exclusive of a proper PCT but in conjunction.

I have never used it during pct. I do know many guys who have and most will say that it was supressive......

Yes, not to be used on its own though, i prob made a bit of confusion in my post,

Im running Pro-V at 150mg per day for the first 10 days (well minus -3 days until the prop leaves my system), so for 7 days, and along with this im running nolva and clomid, with my last HCG injection when the test leaves my system.

oh and to ad to that, i was running Pro-V for why whole cycle due to all its benefits, but at only 50mg/day. I only uped the dose at the end to help my body cope with the sudden drop of test, and to help control estrogen related raises.
