Bout to Inject for the first time.. need some help

I'm about to inject 250mg of Test-E into the shoulders, using a 1inch needle /w 23 gauge. This is my first time injecting, I've made a couple of posts before I have PCT and everything lined up. A couple of questions before I do this. First of all I'm extracting the test e from an ampoule (The iranian test e I'm sure many of you have seen this). I know I'm supposed to break the top, but what do I do from there?

My syringe can hold up to 3CC. I've read all the guides, but for 250mgs precisely how much air do I suck into the needle? and what do I do from there? Interms of extracting since its an ampoule I cant turn it upside down. ( I know I'm supposed to use an alcohol swab when extracting from a vial, but how do I use a swab on an ampoule..?)

    Aspiration -

How much am I exactly supposed to pull out on the plunge in order to aspirate? a little? a lot? all the way?

Just want to make sure I do this correctly, greatly appreciate the help

OK, just go to my blog, as there is information there.

Also, you can go on you tube and find out how to do this.

    when breaking the ampule:
1)get paper towel and wrap around the ampule
2)put thumbs on the neck of the ampule one on each groove and apply pressure in the opposite direction on the top and bottom of the ampule. to visualize Pretend you are trying to break a popsicle stick right in the middle. Place your fingers just like you would with that. Sorry its kinda hard to explain
3)if it is not breaking easily try rotating the ampule in the paper towel. Some ampules are not scored all the way around and have a "sweet spot" for the break.
    4) once it has opened you have two choices
    a. you can flip the ampule upside down and draw out of it with the syringe ( it will form a suction so your gear wont spill out )
    b. sometimes shorter ampules wont form an air seal and the gear can spill out... so you may just dip your needle in and pull out the gear with the syringe.
5)withdraw an extral .2ml of air into syringe... this will lock the gear in your and prevent backflow. It will also help clear the needle of all gear... dont want to waste.

*note that you should tap the head of the ampule to get all the gear to the bottom before breaking. You will also want to mix the contents of the ampule slightly. Do this by rolling it in between your hands or holding the head with one hand and moving your wrist in a circular motion.

    your gear is ready
-prep the area with an alcohol swab by starting in the middle of the shoulder and circling outward till you get the whole shoulder

    Proper technique for shoulder injection:
    1) find greater tuberosity of the humerus with index finger(the bony part of the top shoulder)
2)with index finger touching greater tuberosity add middle and ring finger so you are 3 finger lengths down from the head
3)place pinky in a v shape with the bottom finger(ring finger) and that is the proper spot to pin (the skin area between the pinky and ring finger).
    * if a friend is pinning you they can pinch the area with the non-injection hand to give more lift to the muscle you are injecting into.

    when needle is in
1)pull back slightly on the plunger to see if blood returns... if there is no blood you are g2g. You can also tell this because the plunger will form a suction and will bounce back to the original position.
2)If you draw blood... pull needle out and apply pressure to site.
3)switch arms and pin again... aspirate and see if there is blood return. You will more than likely not have a problem with blood in the shoulder because you are using a small needle. And to be honest I have never seen blood return in a shoulder.

Just pull the plunger out a little you will know if there is blood immediately because there will be no pressure and that awful red stuff will be in your syringe.

Yea I pinned about 2 hours ago. Wasn't bad at all, hurts slightly when the pin pierces through the skin, but I didn't feel anything painful after the pin was almost all the way in/during injecting. Shoulder is a bit sore, but nothing bad.

Fast in..slow out!!..I always pretend im throwing darts..lol., IMO hurts less going in if your basically throw it in..and make sure you inject the oil really really slow which will minmize the afterwards pain..good job

It's not the needle that hurts people, its the viscosity of the oil being injected and the surrounding muscle that is displaced by the volume of what's injected.
