    140lbs vs 240lbs

so i always hear about people making 10lb gains to 20lb gains. well lets say a 6'2 240lb person took the same cycle as a 5'6 140lb person that gained 12lbs on there cycle. now, would the 240lb person gain that same 12lbs? or would he gain more bc he is a bigger person and has more muscle to grow then the 140lb guy? or would the dosing in ratio to body size be smaller and not gain as much?

    thanks.

well there alot of varibles here

the 240lbs guy obviosly has more experiance, but gains do slow down over time

the 140lbs guy has more room to grow, but shouldn't even be trying to take staroids unless he 3 or 4 foot tall (haha) and if these two guys are the same height (say 6', which make for a really skinny 140lbd guy... the 140lbs guy seems like he has no experiance and the juice would cause all kinds of probs for him... what age are these guys (another factor to this equation....) very open ended question

    Duke nukem rocks

haha duke does rock!, these are imaginary people, so lets say they havnt cycled and there BF is around 15%. im trying to see how the two different sizes will effect the gains made on the same dosing.

    Variables:
    Age
    Diet
    Sleeping patterns
    Workouts
    Genetics
This could go on and on.

still give us an idea... it matters, like I said at the begining to many variables/factors

the bigger guy will be less likely to gain 20pounds then a 140 pound guy just becuase taller guys geneticaly arent as gifted in becoming muscular then a shorter guy

they also have longer muscles, so it requires more protein synthesis to repair them

being taller they also burn more energy then a shorter guy

a 240 pound 6'2 guy is also MUCH bigger and stronger then a 140 pound 5'6 guy so he is already closer to his genetic potential then the shorter guy, so hes going to find it harder to gain yet again

theirs other factors that come into play aswell, but this is generally what tends to happen

    Genetic clones?
    (except for the height).

I would sway to the bigger guy, but I would have to see a actual study of sorts to back that statement up.

So, it is just an opinion.

ok maybe i should re think my question, how about this. is there a recommended mg/kg ratio for dosing? for example 1mg OMGdrol/(per)1Kg. <--- just pulled that out of my butt, but you get the picture.

    no their isnt,

some steroids have advised dosaging to minimise sides while get the moximum gains

e.g deca has a 2mg per pound of bodywegiht reccomendation weekly

drol has a 100mg recomendation for most people, some LARGER guys 150mg daily

testerone theirs no real recomendation since some people use 500mg, while others use 2grams or more

    n the list goes on

however IMO what you should be doing isnt be trying to find out what dosages to run, but rather whats the least amount you can use to gain off

remember steroids do have side effects

so your goal should be use the least amount of steroids to acheive your goals

that way you minimise sides (they will happen unfortunaly) and have abetter shot at keeping your gains since you didnt need to use large dosages to acheive your gains

generally the more steroids you need to gain muscle, the less likely your going to be able to maintain it, since you needed so much gear in the first place to gain the muscle and strength
