Thread: Where and how should someone start?

Where and how should someone start?

I am 5'10" 165lbs. Starting to get back into training, taken the last two years off so I am starting at square one again. Was up to 185lbs which looked good on my frame, but I did have about 10lbs of fat as well. I am looking to add something to my workouts and think that steroids might be it. Where should one start? I have read about the different types and ways to take them but still are unsure of which ones to work for me. I don't want to get huge, just want to get stronger, with some mass. Looking to put on about 25lbs of muscle then cutting the fat. Or should I cut the fat and then strength train. I want to take this in moderation which would help with the "side effects" Any advice would be greatly apprieciated.

    How old are you?

If you're just getting back into training, it'll be best to hold off on the AAS. You need to strengthen your joints/ligaments.

Also, if you're 165lbs at 5'10, I'm positive you can add some weight just by diet alone.

    What's your diet like now?

I am 29 years old(today). I agree with starting my routine before jumping in to this. What is a good weight to put on a 5'10 5'11" frame? My diet is not where it needs to be, cutting fat right now, need to up my number of meals a day and start to take in more protein. Are pills even worth the trouble?

Head to the diet section and start a thread.

If by "pills" you mean steroids, then no, don't even worry about them right now.

no, dont even piss ur $ away because you will not get anything long term out of them if you dont practice proper nutrition now. At 5'10 you can put alot more on that frame. I've seen the most ectomorphic person I know get to 220 lbs naturally (he is was 6'2" and 135 lbs when he started lifting) So I dont believe it cannot be done

If I was you and my mind was set on using aas then I would start with testc. Try an 8 week cycle and see how it goes. 400-500mg's a week is a good start.

Train, get all your strength and muscle back up to where u once were and then start thinking about AAS... if you have your heart set on doing it, spend the next couple of months researching and reading this site it will be extremely beneficial
