On deca, Low HDL results.
I just got blood work results back and my HDL was 29, down from 55 6 mos. ago. I have been using deca at 300mg/wk along with test cyp at 200 mg/wk for the past 6 wks. I thought that deca was suppose to have positive effects on your HDL/LDL levels? What can I do to get my HDL back up? Is this cause for concern? LDL was OK at 119

Well is it a very very low dose cycle or a very high TRT dose? I started cruising and blasting with this dose, I am not bulking at the moment, just wanted to use deca for benifits with my back and joint issues.
Regardless, I need to know what I can do in addition to my diet that may help get my hdl up. I currently eat fish 2-3x a wk and supplement with flax ed.

trust me there isnt anything wrong with my diet, that I know for sure is not the cause. But thanks anyway for stating the obviously easy answer. About the worst thing in my diet as far as cholesterol goes are the protein shakes, and even then I am careful to get the ones with least amount.
Has anyone heard of using niacin to help with low hdl?

I use the niacin. Be careful with the non time release as it can make your entire body go red quick. Take it after a big meal. The time release stuff can put a strain on your liver.

I guess nobody on this forum has ever had any similar cholesterol problems, right? Yeah right! All the peeps on gear in here and nobody had any issues. I guess I have to figure this thing out on my own, meanwhile, everyone will rush to answer the new guy with the itchy nipple for the thousandth time.

1. No drugs (so far) have been reported to be effective on raising HDL.
2. Aerobic activity does raise HDL (running, swimming...)
3. Add the following supplement on you diet and your HDL will be helped to raise:
. Red Wine Extract 200mg (30% Polyphenols 60mg)
. Red Wine Powder 200mg
. Japanese Knotweed 150mg (50% Resveratrol 75mg)
. Grape Seed Extract 100mg (95% Polyphenols 95mg)
Brand name: Resveratrol
4. After 2 weeks, get three days total rest and on the fourth day go checking your HDL/LDL/VLDL values again + TTL Cholesterol.

Thank You BJJ - I will get the resveratrol asap, and I will also try the albuterol.

??
(Trans-)resveratrol is a compound, not a brand name. iForce Reversitol would be a brand name.
