can T3 increase symptoms of Social Anxiety Disorder?
I have been having difficulty in social settings for about a year now (had some problems before but no where near as bad), i get very anxious, flushed and start sweating profusely for no reason. Its to a point where it has affected my school where i have to leave class because it gets to be too much.
After searching on my hospitals website about social anxiety disorder it said the doctor may do a blood and urine analysis to rule out other conditions such as thyroid problems, which is said to also cause similar symptoms.
I started using T3 in my cycles a few months ago. I am on a fairly low dosage, 60mcg/day. Could this be causing the increase in my anxiety problem?

yes it can. Elevated thyroid levels can cause some anxiety.

You need to get some bloodwork done. If you do have hyperthyroidism its important to know that now. Doing t3 with an already overactive thyroid can be dangerous!!

thanks every one for the responses! i will taper off my T3 dose and get some bloodwork done. on a better note, today i stopped my albuterol to see if it had any effect and my anxiety/flushing/sweats was much less frequent and i felt a lot better! my albuterol dosage was 3mg 3x a day before

If you have any kind of anxiety stay away from anything that has to do with weight loss. Ephedrine, caffeine, clen , t3 all bad
