The syringe fill up to early.

    Hey guys,

When I draw the syringe with the needle in the HCG ampul ( also with the bacterieel water) , I dont get everything in the syringe. There is still some left in the ampull.

Is there just some more then 1 ml in the ampull ?

is the syringe small ? which will be strange because the hcg+ the bacterieel water are both 1ml.

    Thanks.

hCG is sold as a vial containing a powder. You need to add water to it yourself.

I wouldn't buy hCG which already has water added, because once the water's been added it must be kept in the fridge (and you don't know if it's been kept in a fridge).

Which syringe are you talking about? If you're injecting less than 1ml, it's common to use an insulin syringe. The next step up from that would be a 3cc syringe.

    Liftingheavy,

    Thanks for your reply.

No they arent vials..Prygnyle sold at the pharmacies are ampuls.

The bacterieel water has its own ampul and HCG the same.So when I draw the bacterieel water I dont get everything In the 1 ml terumo/BD syringe , the same happen with the HCG.

I think Im going to get some 2ml syringes.

OP, you're going to need to clarify. What amp are you drawing from, and why? BTW, you should use a 3ml syringe to reconstitute, it makes things easier.

If you shoot 1ml of bac water into the vial/amp that contains the hcg powder cake, you will have more than 1ml to draw up, since the hcg itself has volume.

    Bonaparte,

I'll try my best to clarify..

Yes, the ampul has powder in it, so I shoot the bacterieel water in the ampul, but before that I need to get the bacterieel water first in the syringe ..and here is the problem, I dont get the whole 1ml bacterieel water in the syringe , so whatever I get in the syringe I shoot it in the HCG ampull, it solves very fast, then I has the same problem , I dont get the whole thing in the syringe.

So even if hcg have its own volume , then why I dont get the bacterieel water in the syringe before Mixing it with the HCG ?

I think It can only be 2 things :

    a) the 1ml syringe is a little short to get the 1 ml bacterieel water in the whole syringe or

b)there is a little more then 1 ml in the ampul.

but its just strange , I dont think BD or terumo will make any mistakes in the size in their syringes and either HCG.

anyway,I hope the pharmacy have some 2ml syringes on stock.

    thanks for the help.

    I've never seen a 2ml syringe. Just go for a 3ml.
The slin pin is accurate, the bacteriostatic water amp must just be overfilled.

This is exactly right, just get a 3ml syringe (because i also haven't seen a 2ml) and make your life easier next time. (of course i'd still use a slin pin to inject the hcg .)
