AAS and fertility
I've tried looking around, but, can anyone direct me to any educational info regarding AAS and fertility? I ask because I am thinking about running a cycle or two in the next year, but my wife and I also need to start thinking about having a kid soon... she's 31. I am 30. I've done about four cycles in the past, but nothing for the past 2 years or so.
Obviously while on cycle there would be fertility issues, but with proper PCT, could I expect to recover completely?
Thanks a lot. Any info or insights much appreciated.

You aren't going to get a 100% answer to your question, no one here knows if your going to have issues with fertility, but its without question that there is a risk if you do use steroids , ive seen guys who have cycled for 10yrs who dont have a problem and i have also seen guys who have ran one or two cycles and they have serious complications.

Thanks for the reply.
I know at least in the past I was fertile... I got a girl pregnant when I was 21, but she had a miscarriage. I "feel" as though my natty test production has recovered well enough after each of my cycles. I feel good in that regard.
What is it about AAS that can cause fertility issues? Is there any web page or info out there that I can read up on? It's a big concern for me, as I'd really like to have a kid soon.

You aren't going to find the answer, its an indivdual thing...if you use testosterone it will shut down your own production and in some many guys dont fully recover, why dont you have bloodwork done and see how you are and stay off until she catches.

Fair enough.
Financially, I don't think we're ready right now due to the economy, but within the next year or two for sure. But, of course, I'd like to do a cycle going into what could be my final summer of freedom.
Is there anything that could be done to mitigate the potential deleterious effects of AAS on fertility? Would HCG help?

And what is it exactly that would affect fertility? Is it solely caused by possibly lower natural test production post cycle? Or is there more to it than that?
Thanks.

Any other insights on this? It's a pretty big decision for me. Looking to start a cycle in about a month if everything checks out.
Thanks.
