Simple ampule extraction question

Hi Guys,

First inject of Test E 250mg yesterday from 1ml amp.

Question:

Oil would not draw up into my 23g 1 1/2 inch needle so I pulled plunger from syringe and poured oil into syringe then re inserted plunger. Made sure I got all air out and then injected into glute. I am sure not an ideal way of doing it, but was all i could think of at the time. It seemed to work. Have some pain at injection sight, but I think that is probably somewhat normal too.

Is this normal that oil woudl not draw up into syringe from amp?? I did heat up amp in hot water first.

Is my needle size wrong??

Also, been advised to also look into injecting into delts. What is ideal needle size for that? Is it 23 x 1 inch?

You should pick up some 18G needles for drawing from an amp. It's effortless with those. Then switch out to your 23x1's for pinning.
For delts, 23x1 is fine. Some people even use 25's.

I agree on getting some 18G pins, thats how I get the gear out of amps, just be careful not to suck up a tiny shard of glass.
