Shoulder pulse during injection
I'm currently on my fifth cycle, I was doing my 5th injection today, I hadn't hit any veins till today. I had the needle 3/4 in and before I was even all the way in my shoulder pulsed, so I took it as a sign and pulled out. I processed to grab a new needle and moved slightly up and to the right of the original injection spot. This time I went all the way in and as soon as I aspirated my shoulder pulsed again and I started to leak blood. Is this normal? is my shoulder currently sensitive? I still need to shoot today should I just keep trying different spots on the same shoulder, since I pinned my left shoulder 3 days ago?
Edit: Pinned successfully on the same shoulder, just feeling shitty :/Last edited by Wayacrucis; 02-14-2010 at 08:11 PM.

Your probably hitting a nerve dude no need to worry you are fine.
I can't seem to understand how you had it all the way in and are aspirating and it spazed. usually it will do that when your going in... unless your moving it alot while aspirating.
Have you done shoulders recently?
Personally I wouldn't want to see you keep jabbing your shoulder... Your using a 1inch. Try your chest or quad. If you have a 1 1/2 inch do a glute.

No its not to much. If you kept going for shoulder today and are having a problem... Try chest, or quad. Somewhere a 1inch pin will be fine.
