For those that have had test prop flu - quesitons

edit: The whole focus of this thread is on test flu experience (I'm more interested in it if it was prop, but whatever). I'm not interested in dosing schemes/typical pain experiences.

If you've gotten the flu after taking a prop shot, when does it normally go away? Do you continue to get the flu every time you take prop? Has it happened to you with more than one "brand" of prop?

Myself: I've had it, it sucks. I only did 2 shots of the prop I had before I just said "screw this" (there must have been WAY too much BA in the mix because it was painful as hell.) I tried the same thing about 6 months later (same batch of prop as before) and had the same experience.

I started feeling noticeably better 2 days after the shot, but then after I took the next shot of prop I got sick again, so I didn't want to find out how long that was going to continue before I stopped getting sick. (The pain from the BA was in my ass for about a week, absolutely ridiculous.)

Test flu should only happen at the very beginning of the cycle, normally only on the first injection, but if your system is very weak it might last a little while. What are your stats, and when you say 2 days after the shot you felt better, do you mean you are only taking it e3d or something? What is your dosing protocol?

2 days later I was feeling better until I took another shot. (So EOD)

I'm not looking for advice on using anything or for dosing protocols. I've used (various) test-e and never had a problem with test-flu, only with this batch of prop. That's why I'm asking, I'm hestitant to try again if I'll just keep getting the flu.

Obviously it's easiest to just stick with what I know works and not even bother risking it, though I am curious what all the fuss is (from some people) about using prop over a longer ester.

Appreciate the response. Anybody else with experience?

I got "Test flu" the first time I used Test E. It only lasted a day or two.

Prop is cheap. You may want to try another brand. I've had some pretty painful UGL props but when I brew it, no problem. I do think it might be varying amounts of BA that cause it.

Keep in mind, if you're shooting EOD, you're taking in twice the volume of a known painful compound. If you shoot ED the volume is split in half.

Totally weird thing for me. Sust shots where getting really painfull last cycle, but I just started prop 2 pins in doing 75mg ED and I have 0 pain! Awesome! I was reading horror stories about Prop. Unless I have some bunk prop. It is UGL, but reputable from what I know. Guess we will see in about a week or two.

Never got the flu on test or any gear.
Im running 125 mg prop a day now. painless prop at that.
65 mg of winny a day.

running 1ml of test E300 evrey 5th day.
the first few shots i took i would have incredible pain at the injection site that would last for 2 days. accompanied with these two days of excruciating pain i would also feel as though i had a flu(hot/cold flashes, lethargic, head aches).

a friend of mine suggested that i was injecting too fast causing the gear to ball up which was causing the pain, and the flu i was feeling was called "test flu" and was attributed to the introduction of hormones into the body.
he suggested injecting slower to get rid of the pain. and he said my body would adjust to the hormones and stop giving me "test flu"

i did what he recommended and the pain went away, so did the flu....... untill yesterday!

i injected 1ml of my test E300 on saturday and last night i started feeling a little fluish again, also my ass was starting to get sore. i had a wicked bad sleep, tossing and turning. and woke up with a really sore ass. all day today i felt super sick(like i have a flu) and my ass is crazy sore.
now, the shot i took on sat was from a new bottle(my second bottle of the cycle) and i may have tried to rush through it causing the gear to ball up again.
but this feeling of having the flu is really imobilizing.

thats my experience with test flu.
