I have a question or two...

I have been on a regular schedule of a 1cc shot of Testosterone enanthate for about two years now, due to my lack of natural testosterone production. My doctor administers the shot every two weeks. I was taken off of it for about six months as a test to see what the effects would be. I gained a lot of weight especially around my mid-section (about 35lbs).
My doc put me back on the shot about 2 weeks ago, and I am wondering what kind of effects taking a cycle would have on someone in my situation. I dont want to ask my doc about it for obvious reasons, so perhaps some of you know.
I figure if I go work out on a regular basis to get myself leaned back up, for maybe six more months, then I might could do a cycle so I could put on some mass. I really dont know anything about steroids, so I need a little advice. Maybe I should just forget the whole idea, I dont know. I just know that I would like to be a little more bulky than I am now in a good way. I also do not want to screw up something.
Also for someone in my situation, would it be necessary to do a PCT? Please forgive me for being dumb, but I cannot learn if I dont ask right? By the way, I am 31 yrs old, and have had this issue since I was young. Never really even fully went through puberty until I got put on the shot.

if you are on hrt then i would suggest not to carry out any kind of additional cycle. This is due to the fact that your body will have already had to adjust to the test your are currently on. The thing that would worry me would be the possible side effects from upping the dose because i feel using pct could mess up the hrt dose your running but not using it could lead to some dirty sides. If you are already running test throught hrt then why dont you do a short 4 week oral cycle or something to boost gains temporarily and then allow your body to find a level again on the hrt dose. i wouldnt imagine you would need to consider any kind of pct from a few weeks of dbol if your already on test. anyway im no expert but i hope this helps.

from what i read id wouldnt advise you "blasting" on your trt dose. I would just stick with doc advise. What happen to your test levels in the 6 months you were off. Do you know you numbers then and when you were on the shots?
Long term trt doses will start yeilding results especially with trunk fat loss.

I dont exactly know what the numbers are, he told me but I just dont remember what the doc said it was. In the six months that he took me off it, I gained the weight, got lazy, lost my sex drive, had severe mood swings (my wife joked that I was getting as bad as she was), and worst of all, the weight I gained went straight to my ass. I feel a hell of a lot better now that I am back on the shot, I have had a few folks comment that I am losing some weight, but I think its just too soon to even tell a significant difference. When I first got put on the shot, I gained some weight at first and then dropped it along with the rest of what I lost like a lead balloon. I have been on it for only two weeks now, last Thursday was my second treatment. I figure I am going to do the same as last time at first. I would like to bulk up, but I do know that I dont want to jump into something that I know nothing about. Thanks for your input guys.

I would advice you to start training first, even after 6 months you will still need more of a base to work from, if you start a good solid training program and diet you will have great gains, best of luck

If your on Hrt no PCT is required. Lose your weight before jumping on anything. Gyno is a bitch! It will take you a few months to lose your weight, in the mean time get on here and read everything you can about beginner cycles, work outs, and most important a good diet. Just a good diet, your workout, and 200mg of test (your HRT dose) will help a ton!!

yea i would just sick with the doc shots,, since you have more energy you will start to lose weight that you previously lost. If you take it up a notch further and get a good diet and workout routine i think you can achieve what you want. good luck

Thanks guys, you may have saved me a few dollars this week. I guess I should start to really use that membership to the YMCA huh lol! So, should I do a lot of Cardio and a little weight training, or a lot of both? I figure I have time to go to the gym maybe twice a week at best, very oddball work schedule? Oh, yeah, I am taking vitamins too, and just that has made me feel a heck of a lot better along with my treatment. I have about 35lbs to lose here.

Its going to take more than 2 days a week my friend. The min would be 3, i would shoot for 4. Do your weights and at least 30 minutes of cardio. i work in the oilfield so my hours are jacked also. If you really want it, you will go any chance you can. (i go at lunch, before work, weekends) Not trying to be a dick, but no one here like excuses... get in there and work your butt off.

So would any of you have a suggestion on a good workout routine? I still have the one I used in High School, but that may be a little outdated by now. Maybe a site that has ideas for the goal I have in mind? I am sure after thinking about it a few minutes that I can come up with five or six hours a week to go work out. I may just have to cut back on my riding time on the Harley (that one is going to be tough).
