    Question Switching Testosterone Esters?

    Age: 22
    Wt: 210
    ht: 5'11
    bf%: 9

Ive been training for 6 years seriously and have been in football all my life. In the past i have had great experiences with Testosterone Enanthate . I got wind of Propinate and learned some great stories of how it kept the water weight down. As the water retention was my only complaint it seemed that this would be something that i would be using on my next cycle. My current cycle is as follows:

Test Propinate @ 150mg eod for 10 weeks.

I am currently halfway into my third week and I have not achieved what i expected yet. Yes i have gained 6 lbs but as i remember with using enanthate when it peaked at week 4 i would be up 15+ pounds by the time i hit week 5. They say propinate is a fast acting compound but from what ive seen its more like a slow steady increase. Ive thought that maybe my body doesnt respond to it like enanthate or maybe im doing something wrong? Ive thought about switching esters but Im not exactly sure how to go about doing it.

Bottom Line: Im just curious on what your opinions are and if there are any suggestions on how to increase the gains with propinate, as this is my first time using it. Also if there is a way to switch esters effectively while in the middle of a cycle I would be curious of that too!

In my experience mg for mg test is test, ester never made a lot of difference, dose did.. And personally I dont look at 2 lbs a week gained to be a bad rate. If it kept up like that in 10 weeks you gain 20lbs. I think you need to be a little more realistic, you will not gain the same amount of weight every cycle you do. If you did there would be a LOT of massive people walking around.

If you want to switch then go ahead and add some enth or something....Then 1.5-2 weeks after you start drop the prop.

Sounds like its working just as you hoped it would. You switched to keep the water weight down and are now worried cause your weight isnt as high as with Test E?

As always i appreciate any feedback that i get from my posts; I guess i can see where your coming from and i might be expecting a little too much... When i learned it was a faster acting aas in my head i was putting it up there with d-bol or tren as far as being instantaneous.

Good point. Water weight is still = lbs. Dry solid mass is better in most cases depending on your goals.

Why do some people abuse Synthol? Obviously it does not give you good lean gains. Some people only care about size and nothing about quality.

There is nothing wrong with a little water weight as long as you dont look puffy. If you are always lean/dry you could have a tendency to hurt yourself due to dry tendons, liniments, joints. Being dry causes many people extra joint pain also if you dont do it properly.

^ yep...Sometimes its cause to some size is size...Others like people in power sports dont mind cause it helps with strength and injury prevention (as long as it is not a LOT of water)
