prop swelling

I injected prop in my side delt and the day after my bicep was really sore with red rashes. I‘ve had prop pain before but this is more than usual. The thing is i was out of alcohol wipes so i just used water to wipe the area. I‘m thinking i injected too close to the bicep and some oil went under the skin and to the bicep? Or could it be infected? What should i do?

sounds to me you might have a infection you should seek medical advice either way to be shure hope this helps. joe

i had the same thing about 2 weeks ago...had a lump on my bicep and it was red and sore....doc gave me antibiotics and it went away in about 5 days......not sure what i did wrong either cuz i injected in the delt and the infection was in the bicep, im guessing the oil just ran down
