New here, USPS question

Hello all, I'm new here and this is my first post. Scoured the net and this forum seems to have many people in the same boat, as in patiently waiting for a pack to arrive and curious about everyone's insight and personal experiences w/usps.

Anyway, have ordered a pkg and it was dispatched from overseas the 14th of feb., and it's been taking forever. Usually it has a set system of steps, foreign dispatch, then internal inbound... then into/out of customs, then usually processed at sort, at deliv unit, out for deliv etc.

But, this time, very odd. Foreign Internl dispatch on Feb 14, then the second step randomly is: Processed thru sort facility at Jamaica Ny. 9 days later on the 24th.

Question is this, does anyone have any experience or knowledge of this Jamaica Ny location? Also, very odd it didnt go through any other steps.

Jamaica is a standard listing by them. Ive had the same thing happen with Jamaica. You'll have it in a few weeks

ok awesome thanks. Any idea how long it will take? Supposed to take 6-8 days its almost been 2 weeks cant wait much longer!!

You have to remember that you are talking about federal employees here.. The carriers for the most part work their arses off but the clerks who sort is a different story..

TA times?? I need it fast for several reasons. Would it be a bad idea to call and ask what its doing aka hurry their arses up. Thx
