    It was a great injection!!

I was bored and never did a quad injection

So I loaded up a 30g 1/2" Slin needle and did my quad

It was a slow injection, but it was overall it went very well esp. since there was no prop left since the plunger pushes it all out.

    My QUESTION:
is 1/2 inch too short for prop injections? am I hitting the right spot?

The injection went so well and there is no pain the next morning on that virgin muscle. I am considering using more often

If you are extremely lean maybe, but I'd still go with a 1" for quads, not a 1/2" slin pin.

Alright will not use The 1/2 inch slin for quads anymore.
It was just so nice, Like a hot knife through butter.

Can I use them for my Delts instead. Maybe in my chest, Bi's, Tri's?
It would be a shame never to use them again except for HCG .

    P.S.
The only way I could get my quads to stop twitching out was to lie down on my bed, roll onto my side and find the only posistion in which my leg would relax.

^Yah, I'd still go with 1" for everything else but glutes (1.5")

    shit,
I have been hitting my glutes with 1" as well,
and I have a bigger ass then most.
    (mostly Muscle)

What is the worst case scenario that would happen If I wasnt going deep enough?

not injecting into muscle the oil might not absorb and could cause an abcess. I usually use a 1" in my quads. Did glutes for the first time last week and found out that 1" is not enough for the glutes, definitely need1.5". I found out that a heating pad and massage helps workout the knots

    damn,
I had a tiny abcess in my glute the other day.

I thought it was a scar, After looking on google, I see that it was a tiny abcess. It has went away, so I guess I got lucky....

5/8" works perfectly for my quads.... 1" for my glutes.... (obviously if you have a fatter ass use a longer needle) 5/8" for delts

Or so you think...Stay away from that site for at least another 7-10 days before you inject there again.

Google "abscess in glute" and check out a bro's terrible account of what happened to him, all complete with pictures to understand why it is so important to rotate in new sites.

I thought that abdscesses could only be formed in the muscle. I thought that if it was more of a subq injection that it would just slowly enter the bloodstream.

By the way, that article on google about the abscess was terrible. Imagine losing a leg due to abscess!

    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Abscesses may occur in any kind of solid tissue but most frequently on skin surface.

    Yea man,
I have always been unable to do a quad injection because I could never make my quad muscles relax.

I was hoping I could sneak into my quad using a slin needle.

Well I can sorta relate. I never hit the quads. I literally rotate every injection site just to avoid them. I've only ever done two injections there, and both times I was unable to walk properly.

    Glutes (~2.5 - 3.5mL), bi's (~1mL), pecs (~1mL), delts (~1.5mL)... all the easiest, most painless sites IMO.

To be honest it was probly the best injection EVER.

I had to fill the syringe by pulling out the plunger and filling from the back.
After the injection there was not a drop of prop wasted.
It doesnt even feel like I did an injection today and it was a virgin muscle.
Didnt even feel the needle go in

If i can get 1" slin needles I will def start using them.
