Post injection blood

Okay I am on week 5 of my cycle pinning twice a week.

So far the cycle is goin great no problems...but I just injected into my left glute and when I pulled the needle a stream of blood poured out till I put pressure. This injection was actually the least panful out of all the previous but on the previous ones maybe a little dot of blood showed. Pretty sure I didn't hit a vein or a nerve cus I know how that feels (ouch)

Should I be concerned with this?

Thought so but better safe than sorry....is there a reason it bleeds worse at times or a way to prevent?

smaller pins means that you are less likely to hit a blood vessel.... make sure that you dont inject to fast and that you dont move the needle around when its in - straight in, straight out. a little blood wont hurt anything, just remember that youre losing gear at the same time haha..... just put a lil pressure on and wait for it to clot. no big deal.

happened to me today--afterwards i pinned another 1/4cc for what i lost--Lol

try to pin at a 45 degree angle and before you even remove the pin have something to apply pressure and massage the spot for like 30 seconds hopefully thatll help. when we have to give patients IM's i just always apply pressure immediately after and massage the location so there is minimal to no loss

Damn I didnt know I lose test if it bleeds that much....I feel cheated lol. I always pin slow and pull it fairly quick with a cotton ball ready to apply pressure. Should I inject more or do you not lose enough to make a difference?

i was bummed out this morning when i saw a tiny amt of blood from my quad but what pissed me off even more was about 2 drops of gear...dude what a waste!!
haha i know its just a few drops and im not sure if it makes any diff but some gear was wasted and like BESTGUYEVER wrote i feel cheated as well

You're not losing any gear. You probably went through a vein and the blood is coming out until you put some pressure on it.

Well I'm still alive had a strong lift today and feeling great so didn't lose much if any so I appreciate all the comments and advice!
