    Holy crap, just did my first pinning tonight (myself)

    Go ahead and laugh all you guys want but Im going to tell you exactly how I was feeling.

    I decided to do it in my quad, but after hearing my buddy tell me stories about hitting nerve after nerve I was nervous as **** to do it in my quad but for me it seemed to be the easiest spot.

    I sat there with the needle in hand just staring at my leg telling myself to stabbed it but I wasnt budging after about 5 minutes I slowly pushed the needle in. It wasnt too bad going in but after it was about 1/4" in I felt some minor pain, figured I hit a nerve so I pulled out and moved and inch over.
    Again I felt this slight pain but nothing anyone couldnt bear. I figured it must be the needle going into the muscle. Either that or I was ****ing up and Id soon find out. I get it 3/4" in and pull back on the plunger. I could feel the suction from pulling the plunger back in my leg. I pulled back a few times but it wouldnt allow me to pull back alot because of the suction.
    Im thinking shit I hope I pulled back enough to see blood (someone let me know how much you pull back)
    I didnt see blood so I slowly pushed in over about 45sec-1min, the last bit went alot quicker.

    Oh and I probably only got .9ml in me as there was a bubble that I had to get out and lost "maybe" .1ml out of the syringe.

    Ok so go ahead and laugh, but any advice for the next pinning would be appreciated. Just wanting to know what it feels like if you hit a nerve. Wanting to know how much you pull back on the plunger. And heres a dumb question that I dont think Ive seen asked yet.
    What happens if you hit a vein/vessel but you go through it into the muscle, how you gonna know?

    All in all it went well though, we'll see what kind of pain I have in the morning if any. Probably going to get my aunt whos an RN to do my pinnings from now on though

    You don't need to pull back on the plunger that much at all. If blood is going to come out, it will come out without much effort at all. I LOVE to pin, so I'm not really the person to comment on how to make it less difficult. I look forward to it every morning that I am on cycle and is also the reason that from now on I am only going to use short esters during cycle.

    One more thing... depending on what pins you have, you can try to hit your delts. That is my favorite spot! It is easy to get to, easy to see, and if you get sore it is much easier to deal with a sore delt as opposed to a sore and knotted up quad.

    Did my 1st a few days ago. Shaking so much I must have tore up quite a bit of stuff inside but not much pain since. Was feeling sick and light headed about half way through so was thinking must be putting it into a vein even though I aspirated but with the shaking who knows where it ended up. Had to lie down for about 10 minutes afterward or would have passed out I think.

    I dont wanna freak you out or anything, but if you go THROUGH a vein your ok, but you'll know,hahaha you'll know when you pull out the needle and a stream of blood shoots about 3' across the room!! hahahhhhahaa, freaked me out the first few times!! But its perfectly ok, you'll be safe

    I almost did the delt cause I think that would be my fav spot but decided to go with quads just cause theres more room and my legs are pretty thick so I knew Id have a real good chance of being in the muscle

    Did you guys keep rubbing that spot for a few hours to not let it build up? Or does that just need to be done for a few minutes? Im sitting here on the couch and it feels like its building up or maybe its just the muscle knotting up?

    Rubbed it for about 5 minutes after and seems to be ok, bit of pain but not too bad, like I hit my thigh on something a few days ago.

    lol i never asperate... so i have no clue

    and yes it sucks to hit a vien and have the stuff back feed into you system... i thought i was done one time when i did that with winny - the solution dont do winny lol

    not sure of a best vidoe just watch a bunch of them to pick up the correct way... i just load the pin, get the air out, and poke it in then push

    always seems to work

    just pull the plunger back about qaurter of an inch, watch for 3 second and if no blood your good to go... it is hard to pull back, sometimes the plunger even slips out of my fingers and flys back in, its ok

    You never aspirate? Why not? I thought the last thing you want to do is inject in a vein? So how can you be sure you arent in a vein?

    Is it because you are deep enough in that you know you couldnt be in one?

    Just massage it as needed. I don't even rub it any more and I can usually feel if it is going to be painful then next day within hours if not 20-30 minutes after injection. I also find that if I make sure my muscle is relaxed when stabbing it helps with the pain. I pinned my calf while it was tense and the mess HURT real bad the next day. I could tell it was going to be painful the minute I jabbed it. LOL One more word of advice. Not sure if anyone mentioned this to you during your research or not but I find that heating up the oil helps it flow smoother and also helps minimize the pain.

    I just read on another site you will see what looks like air bubbles coming in, is that correct? Cause if so thats what I saw.

    Which are do you have the least chance of hitting a vein? Glute, quad or delt?

    If a little air bubble come into the syringe that is okay. most likely it was air stuck in or around the needle and if it did come from inside you it wouldn't hurt you to put it back in. I see air bubbles almost every time I pin.

    just did my 2nd ever pin. i've done my first 2 in my glutes and "knockonwood" it doesnt hurt at all. after injecting i rub the area for a minute. no pain whatsoever.

    its funny i think i posted the same question after my first inj. yea pull back like 1/4'' you may see air bubbles and yes its normal for the plunger to want to suck back against the oil its a normal vacuum

    and sorry amcon not aspirating is just plain stupid

    Nothing to laugh about brother. I've been cycling for years and I still can't find it in me to pin myself. I'm scared shitless of needles. I still have someone do it for me. I feel like this is my year though. I say that every year though.

    I have hit a nerve once, wasn't too bad, just twitched out for a split second. I have also hit a vein. Nothing too bad happened, just had blood squirting out like a water pistol...went all over my wall. I was fine, though. I have whoever is injecting me aspirate ever since.

    I have only done glutes so far (will experiment with delts soon though) and I have yet to feel any pain. It's so easy and smooth. I recommend injecting there

    Im guessing if you do hit a vein and blood squirts out after you remove you just need to cover it with your finger til it dries up enough to stop?

    Also I was going to do my glutes but my concern is I wont get in the muscle since its alot of fatty tissue and then the muscle. Ive watched plenty of videos but it just seems more of a sure thing to do delts or quads since I have thick muscle in those areas.

    I think Im going to do delts next since Im used to getting shots in the arm from the doc.

    Also, I know it usually takes 4 weeks for test E to kick in but how long did it take for you guys to notice? and what exactly did you notice? "Other" than gains in the gym?
    Like what made you know "holy shit its kicking in now"

    Ya I just got done with my 2nd shot ever. I did right delt the first day and left delt yesterday. My left was a little more pain full for sure. Going to try my quad on my day see how it goes.

    Any idea why your left arm was painful? Do you mean during the shot or soreness afterwards?

    right now my quad is like a 3 out of 10 as far as soreness goes

    Just did the 2nd pinning in the right delt. My buddy did it and I didnt even feel the needle push in. All went 100% smoothly compared to doing the quad. My quad is still mildly sore 3 days later

    Is there anyway this stuff is somewhat kicking in already? My metabolism is screaming.

    Normally if I eat 8oz steak and a 1/4 cup of brown rice Im full for 3-4hrs, now I eat that and Im starving in 2hrs. Ive been eating like a horse for the past few days. I've never been able to eat like this before

    im in week 3 of my 500wk test e cycle and havent felt it come on yet. I know what you mean about the hunger.... i feel ravenous after i eat sometimes

    my drive is up a bit but no gains yet...my gear is good stuff though so im not worried

    im hoping next week for it to kick in...im concentrating on my diet and training trying not to be impatient

    You have a thread with your diet laid out? Im always looking to see how mine compares. But its defintely changing already because of the pace Im able to throw stuff down now. Just ate 10oz of steak, brown rice and some asparagus its been 45min and I can already feel Im going to want to eat again in 2hrs. Normally Id feel full til after 7pm and have to force food down and have to cut some food out so I dont over eat

    no i dont have my diet posted.... i probably should though

    I bulked naturally from 155 to 195 before starting my cycle... i have basically stuck to the same routine, just increasing portion size

    I didnt feel anything on test until week 5-6. libido didnt come in until like week 4 but it was nothing crazy

    btw op, what did you think of my diet i posted in that thread in the Diet section? Did it help?

    Ill check it out right now

    I dont want to say Im feeling test E just yet, but something is defintely up. Metabolism is kicking and I've moved weight that theres just no way I could've done before.
    For example DB incline bench I usually topped out at 90x6. Not only did I do 95x10 for my 4th set but then I did 110x5 for my 5th set. I would say its mental but to me thats a pretty big jump in a week
