    Metabolism and AAS

Just wondering how much, if at all, AAS affects our metabolism. As in increased maintenance etc. I understand it increases protein synthesis, makes the process more efficient/effective. But how much does it increase our maintenance cals, if at all? Like apparently it increases fat loss, would this correlate to better fat oxidisation and better/increased metabolising of dietary fat?

Just trying to determine my maintenance cals whilst on cycle so I can bulk and cut appropriately and most effectively.

    Thanks.

By the way, I would assume different compounds result in different affects. So in this instance I am on Deca 375mg/week and Test E 500mg/week.

well an increase in weight and muscle means you need to increase cals if thats what you are asking.

Well yeh, I understand that. But that is the case regardless of AAS.

Say you're 80kg off cycle, maintenance is 2800cals.
Now you're 80kg but on cycle, is maintenance still 2800cals, or is metabolism increased?

And is dietary fat more conducive to LBM gains while inhibiting fat gains, as opposed to carbs, due to the testosterone ?

    Thanks
