    Pct arrival...

So i was just curious a to when pct came into play with aas...? It is said that arnold never used pct at all so i was just curious as to when people decided or discovered that pct was so important?

I know what pct is and doses and all that, this is simply to find out when it was decided that it was normal procedure to use pct and when the chems were discovered for it?

What did all the older pro's do after getting off? And like deca and dbol... What did they do for the sides and when coming off?

    Just curious, thanks,

I don't think they ever got off? lol An old man I used to work for used to compete in Mr. Olympia. He was showing us pics. The man was a monster! He said he was on them for 20 years before he got cancer. (not related to AAS) Never did a pct. Has no clue what it even is. lol

20 years ago PCT knowledge was very, very limited. Not to mention, the internet hadn't even been created yet; which meant that the flow of knowledge was a lot more limited for bodybuilders. (IE) they would have to rely on here-say from other competitors, or from doctors.

At one point clomid only was the standard PCT.

With the development of the medical field (endos) and the development of new specialized technology (BW, etc.) we have been able to tailor PCT's better to BB needs (IE) incorporating 2 SERMS for PCT, etc.

Hope that clears it up your Q somewhat,

    wow

    according to arnold

"I took them under a doctor's supervision once a year, six or eight weeks before competition. I was always careful and checked, and I never had any side effects.”

Ya man, i was just curious as to what the protocol was back in the day? I have my own personal reasons as to why i am so curious to know this, but i just wonder how it went from never used to, pretty much ridiculous to not have it ready to roll when cycling... I know that i would, as of now, always do pct, but i just want to know what most of the pro's went through after sooo long cycling without it?
