What am I doing wrong?

Alright so I started using glutes recently and I use a 23 gauge 1 inch needle. My ass is really lean and small and overall bf% is around 7% so I don't doubt it gets to the muscle.

Now however, out of 5 injections so far 2 of them caused the swelling (more like tenderness) to reach the coccyx bone which is that bone/ball bone right above your buttcrack.

I want to know why does the tenderness occur in that area? It makes laying on a bench or getting in a car a hassle.

You could just be reacting to the gear. Make sure you massage the area... And don't jam the pin in.. Take your time

I def. dont jab in it, I take my time, inject slowly. The next day I am fine, then the day after (2 days since injection) its like the tenderness spread to my coccyx bone instead of the injection site.
