Horrible injection site pain and swelling!

My buddy just started a cycle 10 weeks @ 400mg test e/cyp and 300mg deca per week. He calls me 3 days after his first pin and tells me that his quad is sore from the injection and that the pain is debilitating. This isn't the first time he's cycled and from my own steroid use I've had gear that made me hurt too so I told him not to worry it should subside. A few days after that he tells me that he can barely walk due to the pain and that his leg has begun to swell. He's worried as shit now and doesn't want to see the doc just yet. Has anyone ever experienced this terrible side? He split up his gear so he could pin 200mg test and 150mg deca twice a week. I am unaware if mixing these 2 compounds in the same pin is to blame or could the gear have been tainted? The stuff came packaged and sealed in it's original packaging and it came from a legit source. The gears exp isnt until sometime in 2011. Also he kept it refrigerated for a couple months before he began his cycle, could this be a factor? Thanks for any input.

Mixing it is not an issue however leaving it in the fridge could have caused it to crash is there any visible particles floating around in the vials? Some gear is just brutal to inject either bcause of high ba levels or just poor quality raw materials being used. I have the opposite right now, painless high dosed gear which is a pleasant change from my last cycle wher eI had constant issues with injection pain.

I agree about the possibility of the gear crashing. Are the vials clear or brown? If they are clear you can clearly see if it's crashed however, brown vials pose a problem. I have shot gear that was crashed in a brown vial and I experienced similar symptoms. I heated and filtered the gear then changed vials. You could probably get away with just heating it.

Well the swelling and pain went away but my buddy quit his cycle after that painful pin. He's going with an EQ only cycle @ 600mg/week for 14 weeks. We both came to the conclusion that the gear crashed, although the gear is crystal clear, the only coloring is the slight yelowish tint from the gear, but the stuff looks clean, the deca is thicker than the test and has no visible particles.

Careful with quad injections. It took me a couple times of barely walking before I got it right. I have to use a 25g 1in pin and hit the lower outer region. If other sites did the same thing for your buddy then it could just be the gear.

eq only for 14 weeks @ 600mg. sure is a wise decision?
