AAS vs taking supps... big difference?

I just recently started to take creatine (10g every workout day,5pre,5post) with my other supps (glutamine, protien,glyco-maize(waxy maize, trehalose)) (also to note i take a shit ton of vitamins)

Ive noticed a 5 lb increase in the first week. I know this is mostly water, but combined with my other supps ive noticed quite a strentgh increase. My bench alone went up 20 lbs in ten days (1rm).

So what im getting at is how effective are steroids compared to taking supps? ... Should i assume if i took AAS that i would blow up into a monster?

    (FYI: ive never cycled AAS)

steroids are much more effective but not the golden goose. an array of factors need to fall in line for significant growth. I think biggest factors is genetics and work ethic. If your genes are primed from growth and you bust your ass in the gym, and took AAS you might infact blow up like a monster. but most of us need to pay careful attention to diet, training intensity, rest, aux. drugs etc...
never know til you try, but once you try your never going to want to go back.

Supplements can help but they are not even close to anabolic steroids. I like to use supplements in conjunction with steroids.

    Like:
    BCAA
    Glutamine
    iso protein
    no xplode
    multi-vits
    casein protein
    etc.

Thanks for all the great replys guys, i appreciate the insight.

Thing is ive been sittin on the side lines for about 4 years now watching all my friends juice up and do hgh etc... Ive trained since I was 13 and recently (past 4 years, lol coincedence?...look at my join date) ive trained extra hard with power lifts and high rep sets and most recently (6 months) with supersets and intensity tech's. I have the mentality for body building, its here to stay...

Ive managed to put myself close to the size of those of my friends who have quite a few cycles under thier belts (and who are younger btw, me being 25). Im just really curious as to how much bigger im going to be than they are because they did AAS too early in thier lives.... Me being 6'5 248 (11%bf), my close friend 6'4 225 (who has done tren and deca cycles before, and started at 19), and numorous others who try to be Marius Pujanauski (who also started at 19 or 20). (note: im not talkin about MARIUS)

Ive been on this site for 4 or so years now and have listened to all the vets out there who said not to take AAS until your body is ready for it. Well honestly i think this year is the year i take the dive. I just need to push myself even harder and get to that proverbial plateau...Then i just might stick a needle in arm and will know how it will effect me.

Im thanking you before i even do a cycle, thank you for giving me the knowledge that you do not need steriods to be strong, or big. Thank you all
