    Anyone experience depression on clomid??

When i run clomid and nolva PCT i seem to get very down and emotional which is really weird and annoying.

Has anyone experienced emotions or depression with clomid therapy?

Never heard of that, but never used clomid. I do know that it could simply be from coming off, but if you never have gotten it before then i don't know? Wish i could help more

I read on this website under the clomid profile that high doses can make some people feel very emotional. Im running 100mg im on day 12. It is very weird and starting to get to me. What is the advantage of taking it before bed?

    Thanks

    Heres the quote:

"I used to run Clomid for about 3 weeks post cycle, at 100-150mgs. Any more than that, and I experience emotional side effects (no, really) due to the excess amount of circulating estrogen I have in my body. All of that extra estrogen tends to make me moody, and it gets hard to squeeze workouts and cardio in-between reruns of "Sex & the City" (ok, I´m exaggerating)."

I experienced a bit of that on my pct. It's not a big deal you are just more in touch with your emotions. Lower your dose to 50mg/day.

^^^^try to run 50omg's a day for the rest and see if you won't get rid of some of the depressed feeling. Also, the benefit of taking it at night, is so you can fall asleep and not feel the sides while they are strong and peaking

    I agree!

The first week at 100mgs is fine. I do not think it should be run at 100mgs ed past the first week.

Youll notice a difference when you drop it down. Same thing happens to me when on clomid.

For the last week of your pct I would lower the clomid to 25mgs ed.

I won`t take more than 50mg ed any more not because of depression but because it makes me too emotional.

Yea I def fee totally down with Clomid. Also I feel kind of yucky and dizzy with only 50 mg eod. I can only take 50mg 2/week at night and I still feel a little down all the next day, I hate it. All the women that take it for fertility say the same thing. Tomoxifen is painless and should work as well so I alternate between them for PCT. I still dont kick in for 2 months or more. Good luck!

Thanks for all the input dudes i will run 100/50/50/25 from now on and see how that goes. Very strange how it can make you so emotional must be to do with the fluctuation of the hormones.
