Isnt Test supposed to make you recover quicker?

I worked out my legs 5 days ago and busted them pretty hard. I decided to work them out today but they were still sore after I hit the some what heavier sets. I stopped after my 1st heavy set because I think its obvious they werent fully recovered.

What are all the benefits of being on Test?

Im defintely getting bigger, my buddy who is the only one that knows Im on it saw me yesterday and told me I looked way bigger already.

So Im wondering if my only benefit from Test is the adding mass part.

I dont really seem to have more drive or stamina in the gym. I am able to throw up more weight though. Bench is up 30lbs, leg press is up 80lbs, DB rows are up 10lbs

Only thing that really hasnt gone up and kind of gone backwards is lat pulldowns?

This thursday will complete week 5

Are you getting plenty of rest? Most people fail to realize how important sleep is even when your on cycle.. how is your body supposed to recover if your up till midnight everyday an wake up at 7? Make sure you get lotss of sleep to the point where u can get up on time for school/work etc without needing an alarm

my diet is full of chicken, tuna, steak, brown rice, quinoa, wheat, non fat flavorless yogurt, whey/casein, liquid egg whites.
I dont think Im missing anything?

I sleep atleast 8 hours a day if not 9-10. I used to have a slight case of insomnia I would wake up 10-12 times a night. But ever since starting test Ive only been waking up maybe 4-5 times a night.
I wake up alot more refreshed than I used to before starting cycle.

Is it possible I worked my legs so damn hard last week that its taking longer than normal to fully recover?

I feel like I can do chest and back workouts every 3-4 days, but shoulders and legs arent recovering as fast?

Week 5 of what? If your using something like enth or cyp in week 5 you will just be coming into your growth. And in 5 weeks 30lbs on bench and 80 on the leg press is still pretty good strength gains. In the next 5 weeks though if your on cyp or enth will be the best weeks.

    Its Enth

And Ive grown pretty good already especially when the g/f and my buddy have both said Im getting huge. I can barely squeeze into a shirt I used to wear all the time.
Im up 5lbs and look leaner for sure. Ill post up progress pics on April 15th in my workout log, been lagging on that though.

Anyways, so you are saying the whole recovering fast part probably hasnt fully kicked in yet?

And for others who may think my gains are mental, believe me Ive been busting my ass in the gym for over 3 years constant now and Im seeing crazier gains right now than I ever have.

Still curious why my lat pulldowns arent progressing what so ever

Yeah the best is still to come on enth. The next 5 weeks should really kick in well. But you have to eat to grow as well. Make sure your diet is good, and you have ample calories for growth and repair.

Im 6' 215lbs approx 17% BF, yea I know alittle high but its coming off still so I plan to be at 15% tops when I get done with cycle. Aiming for 13%

I take in 3200cals a day on workout days, 2800cals on off days and 3500 on my 1 day a week binge

    40/40/20 split roughly

Lol... ur asking what the benefits of test are and your just said you were experiencing them. Growth and Strength. But week 5 is just the beginning of growth because Test Enth takes 4 weeks to kick in.

Give it more time. If ur getting bigger, then test is OBVIOUSLY making you recover faster...

If you're waking up 5-6 times a night you are not getting restful sleep. It might be better than what you're used to, but it's still crap. You might want to look into getting a sleep study done.

I weigh about 40lbs less than you and eat more than you.

If your legs are still sore 5 days after training them, I would hazard a guess that diet isn't sufficient.

I would agree with this that you may need to look a little closer at your diet. You may want to post it in the diet section what an average day looks like and get some recomendations.

i thought you should considerate to your whole sets of legs.
    is that too much ?
and what's about legs workout that you have been normally, was it used time like this ?

op don't worry about it. You are just training them real hard. I guarantee you that there will be less lingering soreness when you train them next week, provided you are as disciplined as you say you are with everything else

7 hours of sleep is actually adequate. Between 7 and 8 hours is optimum

How many calories are you eating?

Because I think 300g of protein 250g of carbs and 100g of fats per day is plenty. Especially since Im growing.

Im not very active during the day since I sit at a desk for 9hrs a day. If I was walking around or atleast standing up I could see upping my calories another 4-500

When I say I wake up 5-6 times a night I wake up just enough to know that Ive woken up but can fall back asleep in less than a minute.

I think some of you are right, I think I may have worked my legs real hard last week wanting to push them to their limits.
Normally Im doing 500x8 for my last set on leg press. Not only did I do 540x8 but then I did 630x4.

I need to start waking up 30mins early and go for a 2mile walk but damn its still cold.

Arms are up 1/4", legs are up 3/8"
