    charlie horses/cramps/spasms while lifting

    Ive always had the problem that whenever im lifting heavy i get muscle cramps/spasms or whatever in my leg or my lats or something. They sometimes get so bad i have to wait 5 to 10 minutes to recover before i can do my next set. I get the worst ones doing abs.. makes me not wanna work abs because of how painful the charlie horses are. Is there anything i can do or take to help me through this?

    agree with the other guy.. up your potassium..

    Back when I didn't care about my diet I would wake up and stretch in the morning, and move my feet forward. Many times I would feel this bungie cord feeling in my leg and grunt in pain as I got a horrible spasm. Once I started really getting potassium that stopped. What I'm currently doing is making a shake a day that looks like this:

    1-2 bananas
    1 package of banana flavor quaker oats
    1/4 carton egg whites
    skim milk
    spoonful peanut butter occasionally

    is tren on the menu? I seem to cramp up alot for the first weeks of tren usage.
    my calves seem to cramp every time I have sex. It is tuff trying play that one off while your getting your weiner washed.

    No im only running sust atm an then adding winny later on. I will try adding a banana but i dont really want the extra sugar i get from it.

    make sure your taking in at least a gallon of water per day

    you could always drink some G2 during your workout. maybe the electrolites will help. less sugar at least

    I drink LOADS of water. G2 has carbs in it doesnt it? Dont want that inflicting my diet, id have to give up food for more liquid.. bleh

    G2-serving has 5 grams carbs- 100mg sodium and 30 mg potassium.
    personally I would rather drink the carbs and have a workout without cramps or less/ minor cramps.
    bananas have 52 grams carbs
    for me it would be a fair trade. plus I find g2 to be refeshing and delicious.

    Oh, awsome. i can deal with 5 grams of carbs. Thanks man, gonna get some for today an see how it goes.
