Sup guys. Here's my stats:
age=26
weight=around 175lbs
height=69in
bf%=23 on navy scale
I have neglected my body for the past couple of years due to my job. I never lifted weights. I did only what apft (army fitness) required. That means a shitload of cardio along with a nice healthy dose of no equipment workouts. I want to get back into shape, but I've always had strength issues. Now since my goals are a little late in life, would a cycle of test help with getting normal gains? Obviously, I've never cycled before.
In case you're wondering what frame I have, it's a smaller frame. I've got a metabolism like a hummingbird, and my diet for the past three months has consisted of about 3k-4k calories a day. My weight at 6%bf was 150 lbs on a similar diet when I was in shape. 4k calorie days were on the weekends when I could eat AND drink microbrew beer like sam adams/sweetwater 420.
My schedule will be changing soon, and I'd like to get back into shape (ie, bulk up to about 190...I'm not sure if that's a realistic number considering that I still look as thin as a twig at 175...albeit an unshapely twig).
As far as experience goes, I have a personal trainer, but I would like to get a second opinion on bulking up, because test is his advice, which is something I'd like to try anyway.
