is it possible to put on muscle, while gaining fat in a hypocaloric diet, with test?

Running Test Prop for 10 weeks,

lifting 5 days a week, no cardio, 5-6 exercises per part, about 4 sets of 6 reps, dying by the 6th rep.

diet is a ketogenic and hypocaloric one. i've done this diet before and cut about 3.5lbs a week quickly and safely.

never done this type of diet on Test before, my question is this:

is it possible to put on a couple pounds of muscle while dieting hard, because of the Test?

Not exactly sure if you are going to put on much size, but you will lean out nicely and hold onto the muscle that you do have. Possibly a few pounds of muscle as long as the protein is kept high.

at 500mg of Test a week, excess of protein, 250-300g a day- the way I see it is instead of using glucose to help build muscles, my body will just take more from the fat which it is burning

i'll post results at the end of it, if I cut my 20lbs of fat in 6 weeks (normal for me) and put on 8-10 pounds I would be really excited

    Yes from my own expereince.

500cal/day deficiency, past 12 weeks I've lose maybe 6lbs on the scale, but my fat % has gone more than that. plus my muscle measurements are up.

    Its hard to do.

Generally the AAS helps keep muscle loss to a minimum while in a calorie deficit diet. As a bodybuilder, I can tell you I always lose a bit of muscle when dieting. My goal is to lose as little as possible. Ive seen guys on a host of steroids lose quite a bit of muscle when following an aggressive diet and cardio program. Ive heard people say they've gained while losing fat, but I think you would be hard pressed to gain muscle while in a calorie deficit. Think more of how to save as much as you can while cutting instead of cutting and gaining.
