CLEN: What bf is ok to start? VAR: Good with clen?

What bodyfat % should one maximally be at before starting clen? I'm at 14% right now. Cycles will look like this:

    Day 1: 20mcg
    Day 2: 40mcg
    Day 3: 60mcg
    Day 4: 80mcg
Day 5: 80mcg(Note: Increase the dose only when the side effects are tolerable)
    Day 6 - Day 12: 100mcg
Day 13: 80 mcg (Tapering is not necessary, but it helps some users get back to normal gradually)
    Day 14: 60 mcgs
    Day 15: off
    Day 16: off
    Day 17: ECA/ NYC stack

    1 week off

    Day 1: 60mcg
    Day 2: 80mcg
    Day 3: 80mcg
    Day 4: 100mcg
    Day 5: 100mcg
    Day 6 - Day 12: 120mcg
    Day 13: 100 mcg
    Day 14: 80 mcgs

Although a lot of people seem to suggest cycling like this I'm confused by this article:

    http://www.steroid.com/Clenbuterol.php
So Let´s re-examine that first point I made: Clen vs. clen+ exercise produce roughly the same results for the first 2 weeks! This tells me that the 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off schedule for clen dosing is far from optimal, and if you want the quasi-anabolic effect from the clen, it´ll take more than 2weeks on (6 weeks apparently). In addition, since clen alone is similar to clen+ exercise for those first 2 weeks...why would you ever use a 2on/2off protocol? Keep in mind that animal responses to beta-agonist/antagonists differ a bit from ours but I´m sure that you get the idea that 2on/2off is not a great dosing protocol. If I were using clen, I´d be using it for 6-12 weeks at a time, if I expected to get maximum results from it, but certainly, the most dramatic effects on fat loss appear to be in weeks 1-2. The reasons for the further increase in FFM around week 6 despite no changes in %fat or fat mass is not easily explained... It might be that clenbuterol can increases FFM through another nonreceptor-mediated pathway, which would be very good for us, since the anabolic effects would also be applicable in humans, despite the fact that animals often respond more dramatically to beta-agonist/antagonists, due to receptor properties.. However, clenbuterol is highly lipophylic and can also enter muscle tissue (12), so that could indicate a possible mechanism of work. Maybe that would explain the significant increase in FFM of 13 kg in at 8 wks in the study? Certainly, muscle protein synthesis (MPS) must be a part of it, since clen will increase MPS in your body (17)& But it has even been speculated that the growth-promoting effect of clenbuterol may be specific to muscle and that the drug may act in a not-yet-understood manner which circumvents (!) the physiological mechanisms responsible for the control of muscle growth (13). This may mean that clenbuterol can help blast you past "sticking points" in your training by circumventing the usual mechanisms by which anabolism is experienced! It is of note that both muscle composition and fiber size has been shown to increase with administration of clen (14).

So...do most of you guys suggest 6-12 weeks cycles or is 2 weeks actually better?

I have couple more questions to go along with this. Since clen is anti-catabolic does that mean I should reduce cals more than the 500 cal deficit usually suggested?

Also I have some leftover var and I'm wondering if I should dose it at a meager 20 mgs/day to enhance and make permanent the fat loss as well as maintain muscle mass.

Abdominal and visceral fat were both reduced in one study when subjects in the low/normal natural testosterone range used anavar (4). In another study, appendicular, total, and trunk fat were all reduced with a relatively small dose of 20mgs/day (8), and no exercise. In addition, weight gained with ´var may be nearly permanent too. It might not be much, but you´ll stand a good chance of keeping most of it. In one study, subjects maintained their weight (re)gains from anavar for at least 6 months after cessation (2)! Concomitantly, in another study, Twelve weeks after discontinuing oxandrolone, 83% of the reductions in total, trunk, and extremity fat were also sustained (8)! If you´re regaining weight, Anavar will give you nearly permanent gains, and if you are trying to lose fat (and you keep your diet in check), the fat lost with Anavar is basically looks to be nearly permanent. Check this chart out:

Absolute change in total fat mass (A) and trunk fat (B) by dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry from baseline to study week 12 (solid bars) and from baseline to study week 24 (open bars) in the placebo (n = 12) and the oxandrolone (n = 20) study groups. Values are means ± SE. *Significant decrease from baseline, P < 0.001. Significant difference between study groups for change in fat mass from 0 to 12 wk, P < 0.001. (15)(8)

    Thanks for any feedback.

    Doing cardio 45mins - 2 hours a day, heavy lifting (mostly compounds) 3-4x /wk

Diet: low carb high protein 500 cal deficit

IMO, clen is different then AAS in the fact that bodyfat isn't that big of an issue. You don't need to worry about increased chance of gyno or estro sides.

That being said if you were some obese coach potato that hasn't done anything for years and probably have a huge jump in heart rate just getting off the couch and walking to the fridge, then you should avoid clen until you get more healthy as you'll most likely experience heart rate and BP issues.

About clen dosage and length. I've run 120 mcg E/D for 5 weeks straight just fine. Currently stacking it with a cycle and t3. t3 supposedly upregulates beta receptors too just as an FYI.

Remember that the E in the ECA stack competes for the same receptor as clen. When you cycle off clen, don't take ECA The E won't be as effective and it will just further download your receptors making clen ineffective when you go back on.

Clen does not burn muscle. T3 does. You don't have to be on AAS to take clen. But i wouldn't take T3 with out AAS.

The main thing to worry about with clen and high body fat is blood pressure if thats an issue it is usually elevated when you are overweight and clen will elevate it more.

I agree with cgb just do 2wks on 2wks off with the clen and leave the eca out or just run the ECA full time and drop the clen.

On a side note I am running t3 at 125mcg ed and as far as I can tell I am not burning any muscle at all still look "full" I am also ON but I really think the muscle burning of t3 is overated or it just different per person. I am only droping about2-3lbs a wk BUT I am looking alot leaner sooo Im pretty sure its not eating alot of muscle diet is in check so im sure that helps protein is high as well.

yea 14% bf isnt bad, just keep the cardio and diet in check and you should see great results on clen.
