Methylprednisolone while on test, need answer quick

Long story short I hurt my neck went to the docs and they prescribed me a 21 pill 6 day pack of medrol and a muscle relaxer. I know I've seen m-drol mentioned here before when talking about pro hormones, if this the same stuff? The medrol is a step down disk, 6 pills day 1, 5 day 2, 4 day 3 and so on. Looking at the uses it is a steroid, i'm currently taking 500mg of test a week and am on week 5. Should I not take this while on cycle and let my injury heal itself or is ok to take? Also what about the muscle relaxer? Thanks in advance.

Medrol and M-drol are certainly not the same thing. Medrol is a corticosteroid if i'm not mistaken.

I don't think there will be any bad reactions form being on test however..... I may hold off on working out until I was off the Medrol and muscle relaxer. I wouldn't want to risk pulling a muscle.....

Stick around for some more answers tho.....

    not that kinda steroid

it's a corticosteroid to knock out inflamation

    take it!

but I would drop the test, cause at this point you're wasting your cycle anyway.

No, medrol is a different type of steroid. (glucocorticoid)

exactly, even if you are training around it, you're still tensing up your neck and if your doc thinks the injury is serious enough to warrent those scripts, you don't want to be doing that.

drop the test, pct and stay out of the gym from a few weeks.

Thanks man, makes me feel better! I saw steroid and hormone in the uses and freaked the F out lol The injury isn't bad, more like a stiff neck. Going to take 2 days off the gym then hit legs take another day off and see how I feel. If i'm still sore and dont think I can hit the weights hard I will stop pinning wait my 2 weeks and start PCT.

The injury really is nothing, I'm not even sure if i'm going to take the medrol. My neck was really sore and I wanted some muscle relaxers to help me sleep tonight, my doc hands out narcs like candy so I figured I'd go in and thats what they gave me.

Im no doc bro! Just had lots of injuries to contend with so the use of meds like these have been common place for me..... Methylprednisolone(medrol) is one of the adrenocorticoids and prednisone is a corticosteroid. I know that prednisone is more immunosupressive than medrol.

Paperwork I got from my pharmacy says the following - "Methylprednisolone is a corticosteroid hormone (glucocorticoid). Hope this helps the controversy I started lol.

i think adrencorticoids cover mineralocorticoids and glucocorticoids. so all glucocorticoids are adrenocorticoids, but not all adrenocorticoids are glucocorticoids.

they are both adrenocorticoids and glucocorticoids at the same time
