    Raise Dose Mid-Cycle?

Hey, I normally use the search function and find answers to my questions, which is why I dont have a high post count, but the function seems to be down at the moment.

Now, I'm 7 weeks into my first cycle, I took months of preperation, routine-wise, diet, etc, basically making sure I was ready. Gained 35lbs naturally over the winter, plateaued, and decided to start a cycle. I got all my crap together, and started a test e only cycle, 500mg a week, as suggested for beginners to assess their reactions.

I understand it can take a while for results, but week 7? really? I havent gained a pound since I started. I have experience a slight gain in strenght, but nothing amazing or that I couldnt have done with a good preWO. Im wondering if the gears fake now, but all my research shows that my source is legit. I could be wrong but...hey. Anyway, I wonder also if Im getting no results now, and if I continue at this dose, then my cycle is essentially wasted. But maybe there's a chance I could get SOMEthing out of it by upping the dose to about 700mg a week.

    Thoughts?

On your first cycle, you should respond to 500mg a week. How's your diet look?

diet was shit before october 09. Fixed it and litterally instantly started gaining. From 140 to 175 in a few months. I adjusted my calorie and protein intake as my weight increased. Fat gain was minimal. Sry, I know you wanna see the diet, but I dont have time. Im working and not supposed to be online. Just assume for now that im not a douche. I came in months ago and asked about gear, posted my diet and got shot down hard. (thats y i fixed it. Ive been preparing myself and getting ready.)

Stay at 500mg. That gains will continue. Maybe next cycle you can increase your test dose slightly or add a compound.

well this was my original thought, but as I said, Ive had zero gains since I started my cycle. the gains I spoke of were all in prep for the cycle. I wouldnt up the dose if things were going well u know what i mean? My point is, no gains now, continue at 500mg/wk and continue with no gains, or up dose and maybe get something out of my last month.

I feel that continuing at this dose is as good as not using at all, and might as well throw the rest away for all the good its doing. Like Pct would be a waste of money. Every have that feeling?

Edit: Of course i will pct as planned, lol. it was the point im making.

I would says its either bunk gear or your diet is very poor and your workout. but if you say your diet and training are good. most first time users of test at that dose have amazing results. check out your calories in. should be 4000 plus IMO. Posting your stats and stuff would greatly help.

    5'10" 175lbs 22yo.
shoot for 4500 cals, realistically get 4100-4250 if i cant eat fast enough on breaks. I recalculate cal intake every 5lbs of weight gained. Protein is round 400 to make up for any lost grams. I dont count my carbs cuz I eat a shit ton of them, haha. Im well over the suggested. Fats about 100-120grams. good fats.

It may be possible that my routine needs more. I only get an hour a day 3x a week to workout at work, and I try to get as much stress on my muscles as possible in that hour. I am always sore after, but I could be worse. Should I start working out after work as well? If so same muscle groups or make a 6 split?
