Can I tell if my friend is on AAS?
Alright so.. I'm a sophomore in college and I have a friend who goes to the gym around the same time that I do every day.
He is a senior (4th year in college) and pretty massive. He has been working out since freshman year (3.5 years of working out).
Height: 5'6"
Weight: 190 lbs (low body fat.. still has 6 abs)
Arms: 19 Inches
Waist: 32 Inches
Some lifting stats (I spot him occasionally):
Barbell Bench: 295 lbs for 9
Shoulder Press (Arnold style with dumbbells): 95lb each hand for 8
Leg Press: 1300 lbs for 12
About two months ago he started getting bad acne. 3 weeks ago his really bad acne went away and he started to get stronger. His bench wasn't even at 275 for 10 then, now its at 295 for 11 IN ONLY 3 WEEKS WTF.
I definitely think he was on a PCT when his acne came.
Is this even possible naturally? 20lbs on his bench in 3 weeks after he has been plateaued for almost 1 year.
Is he on AAS or is this possible naturally?
Oh and to complicate things, he has horrible genetics (he is ASIAN, usually not typically big) and his diet is terrible, eats cheese burgers all the time.

Why not just ask him..?
If he is a good, true friend then he won't mind being honest with you.
If he doesn't want to tell you, doesn't trust you, or for any reason at all doesn't want you to know, why so worried about it?

He's talking about Bolo Yeung (aka Chong Li). [BTW, love the Bloodsport reference]. He was into bodybuilding and martial arts. His son is a competitive bodybuilder (can't remember his first name).
Now to the topic. I'm not going to ask why you care so much. People use anabolics all the time. Are you jealous and want to know so you can make his personal use public?
I got an idea. Knock him out with a guitar a la Honky Tonk Man style and use a syringe and steal some of his blood (or try to steal his piss, whichever is easier). Then, go find a lab who will test the piss or blood for you. You'll probably have to pay a couple hundred dollars, so just be prepared for that. Then, when you find out he is on juice, you can get on your facebook and annouce it to all his friends.

It's obviously a personal choice and it really shouldn't concern you so much. So if you find out he's juicing, will you now be able to sleep at night? Suppose he is, why would that change anything? If he wanted you to know, he would tell you. And if he didn't, he wouldn't. Simple as that.

That makes no sense. I'm not sticking up for anyone. ???
Either way, there's no way for you to prove that he's using anabolics (no legal way atleast). If you had any common sense, you would've known that before you posted anything. My guess is you did. So what is the real reason you posted this? Did you come on here to whine because someone benches more than you? Get over it and do your curls.

you make no sense. why did you post in this thread? to start a fight with someone you dont know? my guess is you did.
i never said i wanted to prove that he was on aas, maybe you should read the original post
oh and i just did back and bis today, no need to curl for another week...... and who ever said he benched more than me???
you make ridiculous assumptions and look very stupid for doing so

he is now not a friend more an acquaintance, and you have all this info on the guy thats weird, juicing or not you shouldnt care at all what he lifts.
worry about yourself

You should only be concerned about your own lifts.
If your supposed "friend" is juicing, and won't tell you, then he's not really a friend (assuming he's not worried about you being able to keep a secret).

This is a good friend of mine. He used to give my 16 yr old son powerlifting lessons. He's asian, natural and competes in all natural powerlifting organizations.

Are you hating because he's working harder and eating better?
Here's his bench

Hey buddy, I went back and re-read your posts. Here's were you said you wanted to "prove him wrong" about denying his aas use.
So if he is not benching more than you, then why do you care if he is bragging? Your ego is stupid. Go to Wal-Mart and see if you can get another one on sale.
I posted in this thread in hopes of making you see just how idiotic and worthless your original post is. However, that looks like it's not going to happen. I hope you enjoy the rest of college obsessing about one other meaningless person in this world.
Hey BTW, what is his diet and cardio routine? What kind of music does he listen to? What is his favorite color? What are his political views? Does he like horror movies? I didn't know if you already have these answers in your notes.

OMFG, that is the best post in this whole thread!
OP - i can understand your frustration, it kinda irks me when i hear people say they're natural. however, you must understand that AAS is widely misunderstood. so, anybody on them isn't really quick to open up that can of worms THEN have to sit there, for 30 minutes, trying to dispel a bunch of myths. check it - no matter how good your diet and training is, the second you say your on gear, EVERYONE (who has never used AAS) assumes that is the reason for your gains. they think "yea, if i was doing that i'd be making as much progress" they suddenly have an excuse why they are not as successful. honestly, talking to the "non's" isn't worth it for someone who understand AAS's role in BB. so... we generally don't.
that said, the guy sounds like he annoys you ALOT. maybe you should stay away from him and mind yer own.

very true alot of people on gear either hide it or is embarrassed to talk about it especially with random people. maybe cause its illegal, or there just self consious. or cause they have such an ego that they want all people to think that there just like that naturally which could be the case with this guy.
