clomid with a small cycle

My friend is taking a small cycle of Test @ 250mg/week for 8 weeks to see how his body responds before trying a larger amount. Because the amount is so small, is it necessary for him to take clomid after his cycle?

Any time you replace your own test with some thing ells (test or not) it can be inhibited with the smallest dose in a short amount of time like 2 weeks or less, chances are he would be ok cuz he wouldn't be shut down too badly but do you want to take the chance of just letting cortasil(sp?) and estrogen play freely in your body with no test to keep it in check?
