Exclamation Gynecomastia/Pseudo Gynecomastia Difference and how it affects YOU!!!!!!

A lot of MEMBERS are confused between gynecomastia and pseudo gynecomastia and without knowing it, already start to embark on various treatments. Gynecomastia is the enlargement of male breasts due to development of glandular breast tissue. However, pseudo gynecomastia is enlargement of male breasts due to fat deposit and there is no risk factor.

You can perform this simple examination to detect gynecomastia by yourself. Firstly, lie down on your back. Place your thumb and forefinger facing out from your breast like a forceps. Gently, press the areola (the circular colored skin area surrounding the nipple) using your thumb and forefinger only. If both of your fingers can meet each other, then it is pseudo gynecomastia and no worry. Otherwise, if you discover there is a small rubbery or firm mound of tissue symmetrical to the nipple, then it is could be gynecomastia or breast cancer (very minimal cases). Certain breast cancer can cause nipple bleeding, discharge. Gynecomastia can be painful if the lump or glandular tissue becomes larger.

You also may want to find out from your parents or grandparents for any history of gynecomastia. If there is a genetic history, then it may be a sign of Klinefelters syndrome. The carrier of this syndrome has an extra X chromosome, which causes insufficient production hormone testosterone in his body. Therefore, the development of male organs is affected, causing feminization and may cause gynecomastia.

You may also want to review your past medication as some drugs can promote gynecomastia. For example, drug for prostate cancer, anabolic steroid and antidepressants. Exposure to the usage of estrogen cream or gel by your female partner may cause this gynecomastia.

Therefore, it is advisable to check with your doctor or physician if you feel tenderness or suspect it is gynecomastia. Your doctor will perform blood tests, mammograms, chest x-rays, tissue biopsies and testicular ultrasounds. Once you have known the cause of it, then only you should proceed with treatments.

The reason for this thread is I read through lots of threads where someone gets it in their head that they have gyno and then all the parrots fly in and start spitting out advice on how to combat it. MAKE SURE YOU ACTUALLY HAVE GYNO BEFORE YOU ATTACK IT!!!!! OR YOU WILL JUST BE WASTING GEAR AND LOSING OUT ON GAINS IMO!!!!!

So by being lean at single digit bodyfat will guaranteed to get rid of pseudo gyno?

Is it still necessary to take any AI to help reduce the estrogenic fat desposit, or its just matter of getting lean?

It must be largely genetic as well.

i had pseudo gyno when i was young and with 8% bf.

so im guessing excess bf% and genetics of fat deposition play a factor

    ^^^
    only guarantee in life,
    death and taxes

I am not sure if an AI would help.
From what ive read I believe it is a matter of getting lean.

Im sure a fat burner would help.
AND I know every one hates when a solution is diet/excercise/cardio...... but sometimes that just works best

I know there is alot of people going from drug addiction to the healthy world of bodybuilding and fitness (me beeing one).
So i would also like to add that all illegal drugs including cannabis can cause gyno also cause they can all set hormones out of balance.

Hey, I just tried this test for gyno, and I'm not entirely sure of the results. Maybe you can shed some light. I do kinda feel very tiny "lumps" when I pinch the areola, but they're not really round, and not sensitive. The more I played around, it almost felt as if they COULD be connected to the rest of my chest fat lol (I'm 15%) so I'm not really sure if that's gyno. Also, I could only feel these "lumps" if I kinda pushed toward the chest as I pinched and fished around a bit. I felt nothing if I just kinda pulled the areola and pinched if that all makes sense. Can I have your input

are you on a cycle now?
I have always had what feels like lymph nodes around the same are you are talking about.
I monitor them closly and they have never gotten any bigger........

But I am no expert on this subject. Im just sharing my research.

I would wait for someone who has had gyno before to chime in

Ya, I'm 2 weeks into test e @ 500mg/wk. What I'm feeling is so small, and "irregular" feeling that I think it's something I wouldn't even notice if I was lean, if you know what I mean. Hell, I used to be under 7% bf and I could have had them (whatever they are) then too. I never checked b4 tonight. I did however have itchy/sensitive nips 2 nights in a row (never throughout the day, I don't know why) just a couple days ago. I upped my arimidex to .5 eod at that point, and haven't felt a thing since. Now you've got me all paranoid that I developed a little gyno in like 2 days lol. What do you think?

Also, should I run nolva for a few days, to see if what I have actually goes away. Then I would know for sure what it was

    Sorry Man,
Once it got in my mind, It was very hard to get out. My nipples were sensitive and itchy b/c I was squeezing them so much.
I used to be around 8% and now if double. You could be feeling the same effects I am.
